I’d rather take the Spurs or the Pelicans deal tbh. Hali might not be what we need. CJ is a known product and a pick attached will be of value.
Alternatively White, Young and Vassell have upside on this list or NAW, Sato, Hart and a pick same deal.

Basically young player + pick + filler.

The trouble is we have one spare spot and because of the contract unless it’s one player that matches other players would have to be cut/traded which I’m fine with.

All 3 outcomes aren’t the worst thing in the world. Gives us flexibility.

I’m not fully into Hali + Barnes + Bagley. Bagley is trash and Barnes might actually be the best player that we get from the Kings this year. We have Harris.

Spurs/Pelicans gives us a deep as heck team and pick/picks.

Hopefully Thybulle steps up and takes Greens spot.

Simmons has yet to fully engage in a team practice, so it remains unlikely that he would make his season-debut vs. the Nets on Friday.

I mean what was the point of coming, does he not realize he's going to keep getting suspended? So he's not making any money either yet still going in half assed.

Right?

It's such a low bar of effort to half-ass it and get paid and he doesn't seem to be able to understand what needs to happen to meet it. Mesmerizing.

Why are you constantly on the site you are a Minnesota Timberwolves fan I understand the pain You suffered throughout the years with your joke of a franchise but you’re not getting Ben Simmons for D’Angelo Russell or whatever else trash you have on your roster Unless Edwards or towns are involved. Morey is way too smart to fall for that and sell low. Enjoy another 30 win season.

Like even if Ben hates everyone and is justified in wanting out...all he has to do is show up; go half speed and collect your bread. Effort is rather hard to truly gage. He's not even making the attempt lol.

His team has to be pissed at him

They could care less I suspect they think they’re better without his soft no shooting ass — it was nice last night not playing 4 on five

Good, I thought him reporting would be OK, but it's clear it's going to be a distraction. The team could go 10-0 and I think Simmons would still dominate the news cycle and the team will continually be interviewed about it (although that might happen anyway).

I wonder if the team will just let him sit at home collecting his paycheck now.

Doc told us that he’s an expert on integrating players

That’s not how you spell “alienating”

Several posters on here called this fake back injury the day it was announced Simmons was returning to the team.

I'm glad we have finally reached the fake injury portion of the show.

It might have been shared on previous pages of this thread, but I recommend checking out Jason Kelce's comments on Simmons and athletes playing in Philadelphia from today. Guy is a legend.

Surprise appearance from the "hide behind the newfound support for athletes suffering from mental anxiety" portion. If I'm Lane Johnson, I want to go smash his gaming chair over his back for that one.

Ohh forgot Lane is currently ACTUALLY dealing with this. Yeah, **** this guy.

They should mandate 6 hours a day of counseling if he is going to be paid.
