He's going to put all the rooks on notice from game 1!

Evan doesn't have to play PG, that's what PG's are for .... it's more a question of overall impact and which player can impose their will over the W-L column. Not to mention how they develop physically and skills wise.

Honestly, the 'potential' impact of both Mobley and Barnes is insane. If I gave out names who these players had the potential to become people would be like 'it's been 5 games' or 'typical Raptors fans' or 'your saying he's X now, really!?!?'.

The key word here is potential though, just because you have ridiculous potential doesn't mean you are going to reach it, or maybe nowhere even close.

It's up to each player to put in the required work and then to have the BBIQ to put it in the games correctly.

Who knows, maybe some no name in the 2nd round becomes a Superstar again.

I think the moral of the story is that if both these players blow up and reach their ceilings, both teams and fan bases are going to be very happy; but we can't really tell what that means about championships until we see them start competing for them.

So get your bust hot takes ready. Anything less, and ill be really disappointed in everyone here.

If Cade doesn't put 50 points, 20 rebounds and 60 assists he's a bust.

Am I doin it right?
I appreciate the effort, but you gotta make me believe it. The green font ruined it immediately, and the insane numbers.

This is an example of if Cade puts up pretty good numbers in his first ever game and the Pistons lose;

"Wow. Pistons still winless even with Cade playing. Empty stats guy"

If he puts up poor numbers;

"Can't believe they passed on Mobley"

If he puts up good numbers and the Pistons win;

"It's only one game"

These, and more are the types of posts expect, and demand.

If Cade has a negative assist-to-turnover ratio, he's a bust.

And this is how it's done.

Green doesn't know how to play basketball. He is also physically outmatched because of his frame and weight. Getting bullied to the rim by Jordan Clarkson of all people.

I mean the numbers suggest Banton has been easily better.
But I'll keep an eye on JRE. Haven't watched him live.

Green is nothing but a chucker at this stage of his career.
There's a ton of rookies that are more impactful than him currently.
He's got one of the highest ceilings from this draft class but he has a long way to go.

I had to laugh when looking at the individual stat lines and comparing these two players.

No, MY 2nd round pick is marginally better!

Just looking at the box score but Green is 2/12 at the half? How has he already attempted and missed 7 shots from deep in 1 half?

JRE 16mpg - 6pt, 4rbs, 0.2ast, 0.2blk, 0.2stl.
Banton 9mpg - 4pts, 2rbs, 1.2asts, 0.4blk, 0.2stl

DON'T MAKE ME PULL UP THE PER36 :x

Hahaha, I'm just messing around. It's comical for us to be comparing their numbers at this point.
I'll keep an eye out on JRE like I said.

Green is a really, really nice athlete. Not sure how players will be able to stop him in the half-court once he adds more strength. I'm not worried about him missing shots if he starts attacking more and learns how to finish at the rim.

Not gonna lie, I was hoping he would come in Year 1 and routinely dunk on people in 5-on-5 situations. Seems like we'll have to wait a little longer for that.

First 5 games minutes played:
Banton - 12, 3, 8, 5, 16 - avg 9mpg
JRE - 13, 21, 13, 27, 6 - avg 16mpg

Never thought a dick measuring contest over second round picks 5 games into season is one I'd ever get involved in tbh :lol:
