IMO, bench still have not got it going.

This was one of the rare games Rose was off... usually we don't win games like that

the last few minutes were horrible, his defense on Herb was atrocious and then him trying to go ISO again almost cost the the game again, just like the Bulls game. RJ saved Randle's ass 2 games in a row now.

He's just really been playing like 2019 Randle and its not good.

Pretty worrisome to see him go off for 27 14 and 4. We eventually had to double him

Besides Rose, I’m not liking Obi not being more involved in PnR, IQ not making anything, and Burks playing like Jr Smith.

Mitch height didn’t bother him and Mitch was just trying to keep him in front of him. Give him credit, dude was making every jumper.

Monster game by RJ, solid game by Walker and Fournier. Randle needs to get his head out of his backside.

Walker may be playing too many minutes this early. Rose can play more.

IQ is still struggling but I have no doubt that he's hasn't lost the ability to shoot. He's just going through a bad patch at his point. We need to get him back playing well if only to restore his value as a trade asset.

Burks dribbles too much out there for my taste. That second team offense is not flowing at the moment. None of the 2nd team guards were attempting to get Obi any opportunities tonight.

Win is a win - and this was a game we needed to win given how beat up New Orleans is.

Thibs has completely destroyed the bench offense. Burks is now the default point guard for some reason and Rose has been relegated to SF? in our offense, aka a spot up shooter despite being the team's best ball handler. IQ and Burks handle the ball more than Rose now which makes no sense whatsoever

He wasn't terrible but he was bad on defense and that last Iso came at the wrong time.

maybe some egging
lighting a paper bag with poop on the front porch so someone tries to kick it out and gets pooped on the shoes

people have no more fun!

i never seen any of that other stuff except in movies. i can only picture that happening outside of the city.

I grew up in NYC and then moved to the country. We did more crazy kid stuff there. City kids talk a lot more and country kids actually beat the crap out of each other. I used my city mouth to talk people out of messing with me

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Obi needs more mins. His play on both ends - in limited mins - has justified it. He deserves it. And it will help the team.

a lot of people acting like he shot 5-20. terrible people. he had a decent game.

Gives me headaches but encouraging he’s deferring and trying to cut bad habits. True signs of a player just trying to win. It’s up and down but the signs are encouraging. We need Randle..

I love his demeanor and seriousness approach to the game, I'd love to keep him but if he'd get us a Dame to pair with Julius, I'd do it.

I still see him struggling finishing those layups in traffic against better NBA teams.

I hope I'm wrong and RJ really turned the corner, but it's my take.

Cmon dude, if anyone knows me they'd know I love RJ  not because of his numbers but because kid has the right approach to the game, he doesn't take games off, he really seems to want to be a great player, and he has that lion in him. Most talented players don't have his ingredients. But you gotta see things from multiple point of views, on other hand, he doesn't possess the explosiveness to be a true franchise player. If some teams are intrigued enough to trade us a franchise player, you gotta at least take a look at that...

Feel like Randle was fine. He didn’t force when he knew RJ and Kemba were on and let them cook. I don’t know why people are criticizing him when he did exactly what he should do. Even got the game clinching rebound.

Speaking of IQ we need to talk about how awful he's been like he looks terrible. It might be time to sit him for Grimes

I mean seriously... does he have a future here? The way Rokas looks. Grimes seems to be legit. Then there's Deuce but more than anything- he's playing really REALLY bad. Imo, it started in SL... trying to become something he's not. I don't like what I'm seeing

I think theres just not enough basketball to go around on the bench unit, Rose dominates the ball, Burks is a ballhog, theres not enough basketball for IQ on top of that. He shows last year he's not a great off-ball player, maybe he becomes one someday but not yet. I think we need to think about getting rid of Burks for the benefit of IQ. I really wish we kept Bullock instead, Rose/IQ/Bullock off the bench fits a lot better.

I would agree that Burks becoming the defacto point guard means no one else gets the ball, but Quickley actually has a higher usage rate than Rose, so if anything our 2 most selfish players dominate the ball the most on the bench which is to the detriment of Obi.
