I hate to say it and I wish Bostic the best but there's no downgrade without him in coverage or pursuit.

McTyer hurt himself on that jumpball at the end of the game. Horrible way to get injured.
And +1 on Bostic...he's a liability. The next player that needs to go is Landon Collins. He's also a huge liability in coverage.

Neither is very good, but the problem is - Who's gonna replace them?
And cutting Jimmy Moreland could turn out to be a huge mistake - though he hasn't played much for the Texans - missed last game with an undisclosed illness.

If the Skins offense plays as well as it did without Scherff for the next 2 weeks, they might figure they're better off not giving Scherff what he wants next offseason.

Seems like Scherff misses games every year.

Sounds like he might have been slangin' PEDS to the players.

I hate to speculate, but it's hard not to. Hopefully we don't have any player suspensions and/or loss of draft pick(s).
And hopefully we're told what this is all about soon.

Man. This is going to be a bad stretch in a long season.
Mahomes, Brady, Rodgers, Dak… are going to absolutely feast on us.

I think our remaining schedule was rated the hardest in the NFL - even before yesterday's game. That's the price for winning the division last year?

Once again the hope for a decent Washington football season derailed by the time NBA tips off

Would you say this year was detailed by injuries ? Loosing Fitz and Samuels probably really hurt that side of the ball. But what's the excuse for the D?

Washington's ineptitude on offense has nothing to do with injuries, the offensive struggles are systemic, same as the defense.
Turner and Del Rio are in over their head.

It's Dwayne Haskins' fault.
It's Dustin Hopkins' fault.
Any other DHs associated with the WFT?

I don't see a scenario where Del Rio and/or Turner gets canned without Ron taking the fall too. Rivera is a game manager type coach - his best attribute is to delegate and put players and coaches in position to succeed. He's failed in that part, and also from the personnel standpoint as well. I've seen a lot of excuses made for Rivera but at some point it's the top guy who hand picked these guys fault too.
