Brunson plays well on offense but... even 35 year old, 6'0" Kyle Lowry shoots over him like he isn't even there.

Good half overall, it's a shame the last minute went that way.

The Heat can't keep shooting 64% from 3. That's the difference

Damn the lack of a quality big is really apparent right now.

I agree, even Dedmon and Morris are looking better then all of our bigs in this game, let alone Bam. One of those games where I wish we signed Holmes in the offseason.

It's been at least 2 times again when WCS got the ball under the rim, he has to either lay it in or dunk it but instead he decides to pass it out. I don't understand what it's going on in his head. Same problem every game for 2nd straight year now.

If the Mavs would just hit their shots they’d probably be winning the game right now.

This roster is just so poorly constructed it's not even a bunch of average centers and a bunch of average wings, Powell and Dorian have no business starting on a non tanking team. Tim hardaway is as streaky as they come and luka continuing to shoot these dumb step back 3s makes my blood boil

This is very common with WCS. He has all the athleticism in the world to be a Tyson Chandler type but lacks the aggressiveness and overall just has bad offensive IQ.

The bench did its job and brought the team back in the game, but the starters laid down without resistance in the 4th.

I was feeling alright about the first half, not so much about the 2nd half.

Ntikilina 0/4, let's hope it wasn't fool's gold.

Expected a 30 pt loss instead it was 15. That's a win in my book. :meditate:

Our guard rotation is solid right now. The front court is just bad. Might need to play Moses Brown just to have a vertical threat while not conceding size on defense.

Mavs tried to get Lowry and have got Bullock. There's a difference.

Because no big time free agent will play under Mark Cuban.

Got killed inside again. Add 52% from 3 for miami and 33% for mavs and its just not winnable

We lost but I think we showed some positive signs in this game, even more-so then some of the wins we had against bad teams.

As a Mavs fan, I hate to say it but the Heat have a really talented team that plays the game the right way. We're just not at their level both in talent AND in execution especially when 2 of our top 5 players (KP & Maxi) are out.

Yeah definitely more optimistic after the game. I think we have a solid guard rotation with JB and Frank. Also Bullock needs to eat more of DFS minutes.

Biggest concern is the front court rotation. Maxi being out is a killer.

Lowry made the right choice, Miami is way better team than Dallas... What a shame, it was very difficult amass less talent in 3years. Cuban is a magician.

We can't trade Brunson, he is our second best player by far. And this is tough.

It will be a looooong season...best wishes guys.

41dirk41, always that posiyive aura. If lowry had sigbed with us instead, we would have won that game. But there is no chance you would have said the same thing then. It would have been something else u found to complain at.
