We may still get out-rebounded, but if it's only by a few boards per game and we're still winning games because we're bothering teams some other ways (blocking, contesting, stealing, deflecting), I wouldn't change a thing.
When Coby comes back, he's also another player who's an above average rebounder for a guard in addition to providing more offense.
I think the Bulls should be building to beat the Bucks, not just be happy with 50 plus wins in the regulars season. Beating the Bucks will be lots easier with someone who stands a chance to slow down Giannis without a ton of help on every possession. I don't think that guy is on the roster. There's nobody who even comes remotely close to being able to match the length + strength + athleticism profile outside of the injured PWill.
So I think that's the PF the Bulls should get -- someone with a chance at making life harder on for Giannis. And that profile fits very well with what the Bulls need anyway. They already have two solid centers and a bunch of OK SFs. They need a proper athletic, long and strong PF.
Edit: So on the general board, the consensus seems to be that strength and quick feet rather are the keys to contending with Giannis. Makes sense, since you're not going to really contest his shot with his freak length. That kind of makes an argument for bringing back Stanley Johnson, who does have strength and quick feet (if not much else).
