11/4/21 NBA Thursday GT (5 games)

that OKC roster is legit terrible/trash outside of SGA.

my god, the things i was watching and the plays they were doing at the end to throw it away.
going under the screen on melo. not switching, giving up open 3s rather than open 2s. not contesting the inbound like at all.

bricking open 3s all game.

im kind of confused. okc was a borderline playoff team last season and this roster hasnt changed much.

I've seen 4 games of them now this season. 2 of which were their wins.

they look so so bad. that can definitely change, but they have looked awful thus far in the beginning part of this season. this was a one man show tonight with SGA especially in the closing 8 minutes. derrick favors is a corpse now, muscala has his moments. the young players just make me turn my head.

Lol I noticed this on the baseline angle replay. It looked so egregious because he was nowhere near SGA while he was already getting trapped by two other players.

These are the type of mistakes that Westbrook consistently makes which doesn't show up in the box score. Lakers are not winning a championship this year with Westbrook as their PG

Okc was 11 games back of the 10 seed playin last season w/ the worst point differential in the league.......how the **** is that borderline playoffs?

Also they had Al Horford last year whos still a really good player

im starting to feel bad for russell westbrook... i feel like now that westbrook is playing on lebrons team and theres all these high expectations theres a magnifying glass on westbrook at all times that wasnt there before.. Hes really being exposed.

I mean its not just because its LeBrons team, hes also playing in LA and for the Lakers, the media will really destroy him now if he continues to stink it up.

Presti needs to accelerate the rebuild otherwise SGA might want out in the not too distant future. The picks are nice but the Thunder have 2 exciting players on the entire roster.

Heard it from good sources that WB impact is better than the role players we had.

The simple fact is we’re just not winning a chip this year if this is our roster going into the playoffs. Westbrook is only part of the problem right now. The larger issue is that we traded away our best perimeter defenders to get him and now we can’t defend any decent wing players. We’re gonna be slaughtered by players like Curry, Booker, Dame, Morant, Mitchell, SGA, etc., throughout the season. We’ve lost our defensive identity and it ain’t coming back with this group. Giving up Caruso was a colossal mistake and the idea that THT or Ariza are gonna come to rescue is just laughable.

I really wish the search engine was working. They were prominent Lakers fans too with high post counts.

It was a thread discussing how the Lakers added "a top 15 player" to Lebron&AD and I made a comment saying something along the lines of 'but they didn't add a top 15 player, they added Russell Westbrook" and I immediately had 3+ Lakers fans and a Thunder fan in my quotes still telling tales about Russ like it was 2016.

The man has been actively making teams worse for years now.

Lebron is out for a couple of game i think we're going on a losing streak. It's still crazy to me anyone would think this roster right here would make it easier for Lebron to get rest.

Russ is literally the wort PG you could pair with this team especially alongside Lebron.

Horford has been one of our best and we don’t want the one person in the league he shoots worse than Marcus Smart.

We lose in terms of talent and get some useless guys, but I can't deal with Russ
