For 3 guys who can't shoot, their offensive rating of 125.3 (100th percentile) is not all that bad lol. Ime's bet on the right vets is so far working, fans twisting themselves into a pretzel notwithstanding.
Horford-Timelord combo holding strong defensively (180 possessions so far). Defensive rating of 89.5, good for 100th percentile.

Yeah, lets not include shots that go in. It will absolutely make the stat more accurate if we don't.
I mean if you just take away all the ones that go in he's shooting 0% from 3 and that's pretty bad.
I don't understand why both of you can't admit that those 3 players are really not shooting the ball well.

Schroder and Richardson have been improving as the season progresses.
Smart on the other hand is still shooting poorly.
But if Smart stays under control, like in the Toronto game, Celts can live with his poor shooting.
Horford and Rob are the reason why I think the Celts can go far in the playoffs if the outside shooting of the Celts improve.

Marcus is the most popular player on the board and can do no wrong. Doesn’t matter if hes shooting 30 or 15% he's the embodiment of blue collar Boston sports. Fans haven't seen a dirt dog like him since Trot Nixon so obviously he gets flowers daily. I think hes a very valuable role player but somehow he feels like he's a top option on this team when it shouldn't be the case.

EDIT: And notice the net ratings on the last two lines when Smart is OFF the court.

Celtics 23rd Off Eff.
Defensive effort has picked up big time. Celtics should be a Top 5 defense. I'll say it every day until it happens, Celtics and Stevens need to find players that can shoot the ball and take the offensive burden off of Tatum and Brown.
P.S. Unless you can get an Embiid, Jokic etc. you can do a lot worst than the Horford/RW3 combo. Both have been fantastic!
