Sixers with another close loss, this time at home against a team that will struggle to make the playoffs.

I'd try to trade Tobias if he feels that he entitled to the ball in his hand for the final possession over Maxey

Harris is decent but he’s not reliable down the stretch. We may end up being 8-11 by the time embiid comes back. Brutal road trip coming up.

I anticipate 9 game losing streak. Hopefully we can win at Indiana and Sacramento. We are fighting. Just don’t have the big fellow with us.

We just need to tread water till than

Curious, why would you refer to Embiid as a "doofus?"

Shake should be in there over Seth the last few minutes. Seth just doesn’t have the athleticism or length against the Raptors.

If Joel and Maxey can figure out the PnR together, then we should run the play every time down the floor. As soon as Maxey gets space in the paint, he has a great chance at scoring near the rim. Embiid obviously is excellent in mid range and draws fouls when heading downhill. Obviously Embiid is out, but that's the action I'd rather see at the end of games too.

Man this road trip is going to be a nightmare....wake me up when its over, cause it could get ugly.

We could literally lose every game until Jojo plays.

Maxey is a star. At 21 lillard was at weber state, at 21 and having just turned it maxey is dropping over 30 in b2b games in the nba

I aint trading him for ANYONE

Embiids 10th day is the 16th... shoukd be back after saturdays game

This team is undoubtedly better without simmons, but we may be better without harris too. Id ve shopping both

Ben should be gone already. Morey has really hurt us by not trading him yet esp with us so shorthanded

This covid stuff is gona cost us 1 or possibly 2 seed lines in the end. Thats on morey

Problem is, we need the 26 year old version of Maxey right now. But yeah, he good.

Rest not needed.

I want to be mad about this game, then I remember Tobias came back and Jo is still out and Morey still hasn't traded Simmons.

Yet another weird Sixers season where we are just waiting.

The question is....how do you take this version of Maxey and make him as effective and confident when everyone is healthy?

Would you still trade Simmons and Maxey for Lillard? would the Blazers do it now?

They would be better off with Thybulle

some nit picks.

Drummond is ground bound and then crouches even lower...his lack of finishing has hurt a lot. He was getting wacked a lot tonight for no calls tho.

Tobias' stat line says he played well...as usual. But the ball stuck a bit too much tonight. He is coming off COVID and did take a few makable 3s so I will lay off for a bit...but its hard to not see how things changed with his return.

Shake sucks. JkJk. He is at his best when he is just looking to score and not be a set up man. He got going by being aggressive. BUT he also was smart in doing it. Needs to find that balance.

Kork was bad. And generally you can still tell when he will remain bad. This was one of those nights. Of course not sure who else you go to with Danny brain farting all over the place...but still was not the night to trust Kork...he is probably also tired as ****.

The Raptors/Nick Nurse always has our number tho...they are definitely the team that is the awakener to any over hype lol. Maxey was great but it shows that the team still needs a dynamic scorer so the Raptors can't just zone and swarm us to death. This isn't even a night where I would say Jo would have solved all of the issues either as they have schemed him out of games too.

Again bad loss...and we need to right the ship soon...with or without The Big Potato. Those good vibes will go out the window and the big stinky elephant in the room will be harder and harder to keep in the back ground.

Step 1: Teach Embiid that he needs to set a brick wall screen and STOP constantly slipping the screen before the defender even reaches him.

Hard to see Embiid coming back on the 16/18 Utah or Denver in high attitude. With the respiratory issues Covid can cause and his stamina. Earliest I see him back is Portland November 20. That’s 6 games he will miss.
