Looking at the rules, and for it to be a clear path foul, the player has to be in transition and get fouled after he's crossed the half court line, with nobody in front of him.

Depends on whether the call is for or against the Raps.

The intent is to stop chase down fouls when there is no one between the player and the basket. Really, the NBA should adopt the G-League rules on this type of foul, even if it's not a clear path this one would have been one free throw and the ball.

So sick of the refs interpreting the rules however they want to manipulate the game. That's a clear path for every other team but the raptors because he's by his man at the time the whistle is blown. For us they just freeze frame at the point just before the contact/foul and say that's when it was called.

You think Nurse playing fvv 40 mons gives a **** about rebuilding.

If our gamelan actually looked like we were rebuilding the sentiment would be different.

Dumb fouls.

It's every game.

This reminds me of the Dallas game where we started off amazing and then just flopped se one half.

Except we were on a back-to-back that game. We haven't played the second half yet. Horrible comparison

Barnes is going to end up like Drose the way Nurse is playing him. Nurkic is being insanely aggressive in the post and putting a body on Barnes.
Then he also has Barnes guarding Lillard and CJ at the perimeter with a low defensive stance.
The kid is a physical freak but you can't wear him out like this man.

The Blazers are essentially the anti Raptors. All their players are guards and they're probably allowed to rest on defense for every shot they put up.

Our great start was just hot shooting, it wasn't off of suffocating defense or abusing mismatches, knew it wasn't sustainable.

Offensively Raptors were able to consistently generate quality looks, most cohesive we've looked all season IMO. Siakam with 5 assists already, was making every right read.

Defensively we got unlucky not securing the rebound and Simons/McCollum/Lillard all made some tough shots.

Liked what I saw overall.
