Westbrook should've been an Olympic decathlete.

Basketball feels so unnatural to him.

He's had great success because he is an otherworldly athlete, but he'd be more in his element with a sport he can just take off and go.

He'd be awesome on special teams in football too, offense and defense.

This team relies on a 36 year old way too much.

Our coaching staff can’t make adjustments, especially offensively.

We do really, really dumb things.

Not a recipe for a good team.

Russell Westbrook seems to feel that he, and only he, can save the day. So far, he has taken 19 shots and shot 10 free throws.

He does not seem to realize, or perhaps care, that his teammates need to get in a rhythm, too, and that defensive intensity leads to offensive success.

He gets paid to do that consistently. I mean what do you want us to do? We're all Laker fans and we want to see this team win. I hate when people make statements like this...

Think they're gearing up for a trade centering on THT... They are playing the **** out of him, and he has a complete green light to shoot... He's doing OK, but he's had his good moments and his bad and even as much of a THT fan as I am, I'd probably have sat him more...

THT clearly spent the summer in the gym shooting 3's.

He's taking an insane amount of them. 5 3's in the first game, 9 in this game. Even in the preseason he took 4-5 a game.
Last year for the whole season he had 2 on average.

You just don't take that many 3's if you didn't work on your shot and know you can make them.

So the narrative he's not a 3 point threat and can't play in a lineup with Lebron who needs shooters will begin to dwinddle as the season goes on. I expect at least a mid 30's season percentage wise.

Another hot harbage performance. Drop to 8-7 and see them falling below .500 where they belong on this five game trip. I see them going 1-4 at best.

Lakers right on cue tonight. Third-worst team in the league as far as points allowed per game at 111 and they gave up 121.

Not gonna win when you shoot a season-low 18% from three and get outscored 45-18, as well as outscored 52-40 in the paint.
