PG Lakers: Giannis is Pretty Pretty Good

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Nov 18, 2021 2:58 am

Giannis fantastic, great games by Bobby and Pat. Took awhile for Khris to get going, as expected, but he had a nice game. Hill didn’t score but had 9(!) rebounds. Jrue bad game, Semi was terrible. Allen didn’t do much but had 8 boards.

Much needed win.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bizarre game outside of Giannis' massive contribution. Every shot Pat hits is big while Bobby and Midds had their moments but the rest was very eh. Jrue has got to bet better.

Got the win so hopefully we build off it.

Grinded out the win after a crappy 3rd quarter.

Jrue is out of it. Midds seems ready to pick up where he left off. Giannis is a god.

Giannis is a God. God's deserve better crowds/fans. If he leaves, that's why. Probably not, but probably.

As long as we get a top 4 spot into the playoffs I feel confident that Jrue hasn't forgotten how to play basketball.

Love the uniforms. Giannis' looking like Ray Allen from the 3 point line helped. Khris and Jrue will get better.

Jrue is clearly taking a while to get back into it. I'm not worried yet, but it would be nice if he didn't just look like he was flailing around towards the basket sometimes.

Good for Khris to come back and start hitting. We really need that, and he's got the next few games to (hopefully) continue to tune-up.

Rebounding and rim protection outside of Giannis nearly non existing.
Jrue is rusty/terrible.
Semi...

Giannis having a game 6 performance is our only way of winning atm. He played like this against the Nets, Indiana, Knicks(2nd), Pistons etc.

This is really bad sign. I hope Brook will come back soon.

Anyone notice that Giannis’s efficiency skyrocketed with Khris back. Jrue will get better

Honestly, I think Middleton brings a little more to the team than Hood.

This one felt good, if a bit weird/uneven outside of Giannis. But Giannis...good lord.

Good to see us win the rebounding battle for a change.

Rich Paul "Bucks would've made the Finals if they had Anthony Davis instead or Giannis."

Classic Giannis game, love that he was in the paint a little more. More pick n rolls with Khris and Jrue for some easier shots, was able to attack a few mismatches out of the post too. Cut his jump shot average in half this game it feels like too.

Bobby, Pat and Khris contributed in moments when the offense was lethargic. Jrue isn’t as bad as he’s been playing but he’s been trending downwards on offense since the end of last season. The finishing at the rim is what concerns me because he was never a great shooter in the first place. He might get the Bledsoe treatment in the playoffs this year and we don’t have the depth to overcome that.

I'm starting to think you just watch games to listen for how the crowd noise is
