Game 14: Utah Jazz (8-5) vs Philadelphia 76ers (8-6)
I hope we won't see Embiid missing the game for some reason. It's always interesting to watch an Embiid-Gobert matchup. It will also be interesting to see how the Sixers look without Simmons. Both teams need a W.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

It looks like Embiid and Simmons are out, but Philly still has some capable offensive players. Young PG Tyrese Maxey has been coming on strong, averaging an efficient 19ppg on 13.2 fga over the last ten games. Tobias Harris is back in the lineup. If your last name is Curry, you can shoot. Niang is averaging nearly 13 ppg over the last ten games off the bench. Drummond is averaging 12 ppg and 17.6 rebs as a starter. Go Jazz!

Must win for Utah, you can only keep this team together for so long if they keep losing.
Ingles is cooked.

I keep checking in but nada on the Utah GM game board. Its like hoping for anyone out there. What is the point of checking in here anymore? Zero fans?

This was a nice surprise, even against an undermanned Philadelphia.....

Unfortunately I fell asleep for nearly the entire game as opposed to a few minutes of the game. Lol. So from looking at the boxscore and popcorn machine, I am glad Niang didn't light us up and that Paschall was just as productive.

It's good to see Bogey have a couple of breakout games. After a slow start for the season, he's nearly up to 38% on threes. But the Jazz are still only at 32.8% on threes for the season. They are ranked 25th on 3P% and ranked 3rd on 3PA. The Jazz finished last season ranked 4th on 3P% and ranked first on 3PA. If the threes start falling a little better, it could make a big difference on win percentage.

I hardly watch NBA games anymore, and very rarely do I watch them live. And then by the time I plan to watch them, I find myself preferring to do something else.

Pretty much this, I just don't find the games that entertaining anymore.

The 3 point shootouts have ruined it for me.

When you buy NBA pass and get zero games because owner doesn't let them carry the game its hard to get excited as much. Thank you Smith for blocking games this year!

That’s an NBA blackout policy, not Ryan Smith

Yep, same for me. There are other reasons as well, but this is definitely one of them. I just don't enjoy watching teams shoot so many 3s. The new style of basketball and the new direction the game has moved to just isn't appealing for me.

I enjoy the Jazz, and the Nuggets are fun to follow in their turf along with a few other teams. But yeah, 3 point shootout, LeBron’s political stances, star player stupidity & overbloated contracts. Also the sponsor logos are getting out of control lol.
The league has a lot of parity I suppose which is good, but there’s no real next Magic&Larry/Jordan/Shaq/Kobe/LeBron type besides like Giannis & current Curry who is kinda ruining it for me.

This year at least teams can play defense, I think the product is much more entertaining than the past couple of years.

When you are local and buy League Pass you don't get home or away games? Actually zero games?

I paid for NBA league pass and get zero Utah Jazz games. I guess you live in Utah Jazz games are blocked. Was told was owner who had them blocked. Not the NBA.
