Kyrie is a Snake in the Grass

Post#1 » by Balls Deep » Fri Nov 19, 2021 10:55 pm

This guy is not only ruining his basketball career and team’s season, he’s also fuxking over his “boy” KD. I don’t see how his team mates will ever be able to look him in the eye again without thinking he’s a clown. He has to go, I can’t see it any other way. It is funny kind of funny to see a snake get snake’d though.

It's hard for mere mortals to understand his ways. The players know they can't, they can only be in awe of his greatness and in doing so do not question him.

Out of all the mean things one can call kyrie, you picked one that is just not true lol. Seems like an upfront person to me, for better or worse.

Ya Im not sure "snake in the grass" is the term Id use for Kyrie. There is really nothing secretive or deceptive with Kyrie. He is pretty forthcoming in the what he thinks. Hell I think a lot of people think some of Kyrie's biggest issues are that he talks too much.

So ya you can say you disagree with Kyrie, think he's narcissistic, and an idiot. But snake in the grass wouldnt be something Id use to describe him. Probably one of the last ways I would describe him.

He's just a moron.

I feel OP pushed the narative of him being a snake in the grass just to stick it to kd in the end. Pretty weak try.

Wrong animal. Kyrie is a Hoary Marmot.

I once saw a hoary marmot giving a warning signal- it's a very loud, kind of annoying whistling sound- because a black bear was walking around nearby. The bear couldn't care less about the marmot though and posed no threat to it or any people that were there. Its only concern was eating berries. The bear is the vaccine, Kyrie is the marmot.

The real snakes are those who use religion and mental illness as reasons to not play.

This is not true at all about Kyrie.

He's passive-aggressive so he never directly comments on the issues that are really bothering him. He could very well have a problem with his team or teammates and this is his way of sticking it to them - using vaccines as an excuse.

He kind of did the same thing in Cleveland. Kyrie leaving Cleveland came out of nowhere. Once he was on the Celtics he started criticizing the Cavs coaches, players and even the city. It took everyone by surprise.

Obviously what Kyrie is doing is totally stubborn, but why does everyone discount the fact that he’s right?

The rule that you must have a vaccine to work in the city of New York is totally wrong and doesn’t make any sense. There are plenty of ways that Kyrie (or anyone else for that matter) could continue to work safely taking reasonable precautions without getting a vaccine.

I think people should focus more on the fact that the city should get rid of this mandate than they should be mad at Kyrie for being stubborn.

What people don't understand about snakes and grass is the ramifications of seeing reality as it really is through the eyes of a snake, as we slither through multitudes of universes, and pontificate on upholding the truths of our lens of reality.

Lol. Snake in the grass giving up his salary, reputation, and endorsements (albeit for a misguided conviction).

What have you ever sacrificed?

He's not making much of a sacrifice. He's getting paid $18 million to do absolutely nothing. If I had the choice between that and getting $35 million to work, I'd probably choose the $18 mil.

If they go the entire season without Kyrie, and lose in the playoffs, there's going to be major animosity. At that point the Nets will have to consider moving him.

The Nets seem to be done with him, not sure about KD.
