nesmith - in his defense, he had nowhere to go with the ball, was trapped with 2 guys all over him. the right move in that situation was to call a timeout, instead of turning it over.

I don't think Ime would mess around with the rotations that early if we were playing the Warriors or Suns. I'm confident he's learned from the Bulls loss. Even tonight, it wasn't an all-bench lineup. OKC would've folded had Ju'ancho made a couple of threes.

Nesmith came into the game and the very first thing he didn’t box out on a free throw rebound and OKC put it in the basket.

Nesmith didn’t come to play today. Not a good game at all. It happens

Nesmith was out there for the beginning of the collapse. he came in, did bad and then got pulled - which contributed to OKC's comeback.

then nesmith came back in - along with pritchard - with the C's up by 9 (not 7). in the blink of an eye our lead went from 9 to just 4 in the closing seconds because of mistakes by Pritchard and Nesmith.

then the starters came back in, and saved the day.

You can’t expect young guys to be ready to play and contribute, if they don’t get to play consistent minutes, unlike the vets. Confidence plays a lot in these situations. Sadly, with the minutes they get, they can’t get that rhythm.

Nesmith and Pritchard need to do a better job of coming in cold and being ready to go. They'll learn. What frustrates me is Hernangomez 6 minutes (0-5) He is suppose to be a vet. Time to move on from him.

-7 in 1 minute for Fernando, Hauser, Pritchard and Thomas and -14 for Nesmith leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Celts have 2 superstars supported by quality bigs and good to great defensive players.

We'll know more when the Celts face Brooklyn in a few days.

I like the direction this team is going. I see a more cohesive, gelled group day-by-day. We're over .500 but have a lot of room for improvement playing as a group. And we also haven't had a fully-healthy starting 5. When the injured guys come back we're going to have a pretty solid top 7-8.

Once upon a time idiots might have responded similarly to people calling for Giannis, Jerami Grant, Miles Bridges, FVV, Lowry, Jokic, Jaylen, etc to get more consistent playing time because their talent warranted it. Young players need minutes. Any time either has gotten them they’ve produced. I know I’d rather watch them play, potentially struggle and us win 42 games than veterans take their minutes, them not develop, and us win 47 games. But to each their own I guess

But listen, it’s a moot point. Nobody in this organization has loyalty to these kids. Not Ime and certainly not Brad since they were chosen under Danny’s watch. They will not get a shot here. That time has passed. Hopefully for their sake they get moved to a better situation
