I've never really trusted nba refs, but the reffing is beyond frustrating this year. There's no consistency in what they're calling, players are getting out right mugged with no calls, but then they'll call some ticky-tacky ****. how's it supposed to be fair? The way they're calling it now makes it easier to rig the games.

Even with the mugging people are getting away with at times I think it's still been 100% more enjoyable to watch this year than the last few. I imagine they'll tighten it up a bit, though.

So how bad are the Lakers? I've not been paying attention to the season at all.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I think they’ll be ok but they’re struggling to find their groove a bit. The Russ fit is as awkward as everybody foresaw. I think they’ll finish the season in that 4-6 seed range. Where they go from there depends on Lebron’s health and how much age is slowing him down.

They're not very good. Even with Lebron they were hovering around .500 while playing like 10 out of their first 13 at home. They've currently played 12 games at home and 5 on the road and have had a pretty easy SOS thus far. A lot of people when that roster was first finalized thought to themselves "how the hell is this supposed to work?" and so far it really hasn't. Lots of season yet to be played, of course, but so far it's hard to see them any higher than...the 7th seed?

Beef Stew was about to beat LeBron's ass. LeBron needs a 5 gamer for that.

A lot of 'hold me back' NBA altercations but this was not one of them. Beef Stew wanted all of that.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I would have paid good money to see Stewart actually get ahold of LeBron there.

It was really funny seeing AD act like he wanted to get into the scuffle but barely try and wriggle free.

Guess LeBron forgot to take his “Calm” today.
