Finally got watch the game and overall it was very entertaining.

Disappointing not to be able to finish it off, but it was always going to be hard with our lack of size.
It was also disappointing that we reverted to so much iso when that wasn’t what got us in the game.
Great game from frank and diallo. Diallo should have been in for more of the 4th. I liked having Jj and diallo out there together given our lack of size it helps to have long athletic wings to help crash the boards. Frank was the only guy playing with urgency in the 4th.
Would have amazing if Cade could have hit some shots, but I’ll take a triple double haha.
Will be keen to see how the league handles the Lebron v beef stew dust up. I think it was clearly an intentional hit from lebron, so I hope he gets punished appropriately. I love stews competitiveness, but I hope he can get on top of it. He’s only 20 on a big stage going up against a legend and a team of future HoFs and battling 3 7footers all night so I get where he was at, as he matures he’ll be able to control himself better.

They were all busy getting trucked by him lol.

I’m actually disappointed too. But it is tough since Beef Stew is our only enforcer. Josh Jackson maybe but that’s about it. They didn’t see it and the team knows Stew has a bit of a temper. And it is Lebron, he owns the league right now. Bunch of excuses, but in the end, wish someone stood up for him.

100% if Cade or Grant got opened up like that by anyone Stewart would be in there backing them up.

What's your definition of "backing him up"? Pushing, shoving, throwing punches? And don't get me wrong, if I was playing pickup ball and got elbowed like that I would take a mofo apart or die trying; at the first opportunity I had the person in Lebron's role would have gotten the hammer right in the snot locker. But that's just me, and I don't have to deal with NBA suspensions. Stew's teammates did what, relative to the NBA constructs, was the right thing to do--de-escalate and keep Stew out of trouble.

Stewart will get five games, lessened to four after an appeal. Detroit will be forced to roll with Garza and Lyles because Stewart lost his mind. Lebron will get a token one game. That was completely intentional what Lebron did, not the blood, but he meant to strike him in his face. You see Lebron's face distort from the elbow grinding in his ribs thinking "I'm Lebron James, who is this kid treating me like this" as he swings high up that it's obviously at his head.

Lebron lost his cool for a second and it resulted in a head strike, a lot of blood and stitches. Stewart lost his cool for near on 10 minutes.

On heck of a tank loss there. Not going to get a top pick again without a few more of these.

Also, really wish instead of holding stewart back, the entire team just beat the ever loving crap out of lebron for that cheap shot. We could have a started a go fund me to pay for their fines.

Yeah I don't know if anyone here seen the extended videos and alternate angles but it really seem like he's unhinged. Even when the coaching staff is manhandling him to the tunnel, he breaks that apart and makes a mad sprint into it like an uncaged beast.

Props to Cade for stopping him multiple times, he probably got a few bruises from Stew pushing him off repeatedly while chasing him around to not end his career by throwing a rage punch at LeBron

Definitely more entertaining than it needs to be. It'll be on ESPN for a week. Just a weird incident spurred by an absolute cheap shot by LeBron.

I'd have definitely been in for that. I admit that I absolutely would have enjoyed seeing Stew go full Darren McCarty on Lebron's Claude Lemieux and would have ponied up some cash in appreciation.

I think Cade literally pulling off of guys to keep him from making the situation worse was the best way to have his back.

Another thing I don't think has been discussed is possible concussion. Look at Stewart's glossy eyes and wobbling at times. He needed medical attention.

Man we did look awesome in this one for a while there though. The ball movement kicking it to the next man, the cuts, the energy. That was a nice brand of basketball we played up until things got crazy and the Lakers vets closed it out.

Definitely need to start playing Diallo more. He was looking good and having a good time doing it. If it wasn't for a lack of size up front even before Beef Stew was out this one would have been a massacre.

We need a legit 7 footer rim protector and Stewart off the bench bringing hustle and energy when guys are resting.

Because Stewart was pissed off after being punched in the face.

You did, but then you used a comma incorrectly, and wrote ", like this pistons team". Which means you think the team is also lowlifes. If you meant "I like this pistons team", you missed a word and a period. Not trying to be the grammar police, but it sounds like you meant the opposite of what you typed.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to break balls or anything. Being that I have a pretty keen grasp of grammar I genuinely thought he was calling the Pistons low lifes as well.
