To be fair, there's probably a few dubbs fans that wanted that deal. And still might.

Yeah...I was thinking about getting laughed off the main board any time I suggested Wiggins = Siakam.

I'm guessing that Siakam would have been a better player on the Warriors too, however.

Regardless....so fun to see Wiggins taking off like this...super impressive.

If the dubbs go all in on a move, wiggs is likely the guy to make the contracts work. However, alot of the guys mentioned like simmons, barnes, siakam, etc..just leave the dubbs with a big hole at the wing spot. Outside of dray, wiggs might have the biggest responsibilities in this defense having to man up 1 ~ 3 and sometimes the 4. Then u need to wonder how much of an upgrade does it actually give u considering that people want to add in wiseman or kuminga or moody and draft picks (sometimes all of them). IF wiggs continues to stay aggressive, he might be the better fit on and off the court than those guys often mentioned.

There simply arent enough 2 way wings that can drop 20.

Thats my guess.

We've seen this before. In games where teams play denial on Steph his initial reaction is to set up teammates. And when it works it's also his final reaction (like tonight). Last year we saw a bunch of games where his teammates couldn't get it done and then Steph had to go hero-ball against double teams. Sometimes it worked because he is amazing, but usually that is a bad recipe.

And how many superstars who wouldn’t mind another scoring title would play as he did in the interests of the team rather than chuck to keep their numbers up ?.

As someone said on the game thread, box and 1 is rather less effective when passing to Quinn Cook is not the best alternative option.

One of the many things I've always loved about Curry. Yeah, he likes to shimmy, but he's a team player all the way.

I don’t know a lot about the details, but watching this game it occurred to me that Wiggins’ skill set is really well suited for attacking a box & 1.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Dude, they are still talking about this in the game thread, you can look, is in tne first pages, they still try to sell him to us.

Then **** is getting serious and the reffs are against them . Such a good read.

That fanbase is sooo catastrophically imbecile and bi-polar, unbelievable.

That's the kind of game you want to have when opponents scheme entirely around Steph. Curry is awesome for how he reacts to this by just making plays for others with and without the ball, and kudos to Poole, Wiggins and Porter for being up to the task of shooting the heck out of the ball. 19 out of 28, that's insane – even though those were almost exclusively good looks. By the way, Poole had a TS% of >100 last night!

Draymond has been playing amazing all year, especially on defense. Wiggins continues with the (mostly) smart aggression that you'd love to see and contributes on both ends. Poole has broken out of his slump emphatically with those past two games and you hope to see his 3P% continue to slowly rise a bit more. Looney has been a maniac on the board all year and mostly defended well when it mattered. All in all, the development of our key players is great to see and I hope that continues in the right direction.

The team other than Curry shot poorly from 3 the whole road trip, except the Detroit game.

They were due.

Is Poole's game last night the best of his career? You can make an argument.

What's funny is this game is being considered a "bad" curry game and would likely hurt his MVP rankings (just because it lowers some stats). Yet, they used a junk D the entire game because of Steph and it led to an incredibly easy win. Made Poole and Wiggins look like Allstars because they were willing to attack a 4 man zone. And Steph was perfectly content keeping his man out of the way for them to go to work.

Draymond has been a freak, if he doesn't win the DPOTY it will be a travesty.

Big agree. Inspired basketball by Dray as a help and primary defender. Watching him on Pascal was brutal. He'd make a good move, get a sliver of daylight and Dray would close out with a strong contest that alters his shot. And Pascal is a great player!

His D on KD was my favorite of the year. Absolute monster! Steph & Kerr have to start campaigning for him after a big game, maybe vs the Suns B2B which is in 10 or so days?

You could but I probably wouldn't. Last year versus the Pelicans in May was a truly impressive carrying job and even this year versus Charlotte I remember him keeping us in the game until we could pull away eventually but also being more disruptive on defense. Still, definitely a career-game for Poole – this kind of efficiency on such a high scoring output is crazy.
