Dunno what you're watching then. All he can do is "patrol the paint." When opponent spreads you out like HOU does, he's pretty much useless. Also a turnstile when someone drives on him since he can't defend in space. Cs pressed to score each time down.

It's funny. Mathews refused to sign a 2-way contract with us because he figured he had a better shot at playing time with the rockets.

matthews knew that he wasn't gonna get minutes over our Romeo/Nesmith, since we recently drafted them in the 1st round and wanted to develop them.

yet here is mathews, getting minutes for houston, over Josh Christopher - who houston just drafted in the 1st round.

and houston is a rebuilding team! you would think that between the celtics and rockets, the rockets would be the team more likely to play a young kid recent 1st round pick over mathews..
