For someone as athletic as Hampton, he sure goes to the rack soft. Along with that, he has no fluidity to his game whatsoever.

I'm just glad there's no relegation in the NBA, because we deserve it as a franchise.

This is just a disgrace, ugly performance and bad coaching from Mosley in both games vs. the Bucks. We needed better rotations, more PT for Lopez who seems the only guy providing resistance at the rim...just baaaad.

I'm still waiting for one of these in a magic uniform:

Yep. He’s the guard version of AG. A physical specimen that only uses his elite physical gifts on open rims it seems. He has offensive skills but they don’t come naturally to him.

I could see him becoming an MCW-type player in the future.

Hampton is only 4 months older than Suggs.

I'm not writing him off by any means.

We're officially on watch.

The worst loss in Magic history was by 47 and they head into the 4th quarter down 49.

I might be crazy but I would like to see normal rotations in the 4th, including the starters coming back in to end the game.

What are we going to gain feeding Lopez in the post? I'd rather see Suggs and Franz fighting through adversity.

Agreed... but to put things into perspective, LaMelo is younger than both and is posting stats like 28pts/13reb/7ast/3stls/1blks tonight.

Just dump it into ROLO every possession the rest of the way. He's got Giannis' brother in the torture chamber!

Never thought I would have to say this, but it seems obvious that RJ Hampton and Lopez are the only dudes in Magic uniform that give a f##k tonight, the rest gave up early. Bamba's body language after every miss and missed Def rebound or assignment tonight was just horrendous.

Well gosh LaMelo was a top 3 pick who some of us *cough* had pegged as the No. 1 player in his class. He's great.

Cole went 15 and Hampton went 24. The fact that they're contributing at all is a win.

I had Cole Anthony 30th on my board that year fwiw :o

If Hampton started at PG and played starter minutes, he's average like 20-7-7-2...

...with terrible efficiency and his team would be awful. But he'd stuff the stat sheet

Suggs was a top 5 pick that some had top 2 (and some even had #1)... all while being older than LaMelo. I don't want to use youth as an excuse. One day, we'll draft a stud that will be younger than these guys and everyone will just know that he's the franchise player. I didn't expect it from Suggs but was hopeful. I've seen enough to know he will be a valuable piece, but I've also seen enough to bet that he isn't 'that' guy. He can turn into Kyle Lowry but he won't be Chris Paul. On to the next draft as most of us expected anyway.
