BUT put some respect on my name

Wasn't my comment but your team has the feel of a Swiss team even with different parts. Well balanced with some hard nosed defensive specialists. He may have had CJ at one point too but I forget.

I think it's cool that there's a continuity feel with new ownership.

Mecca had CJ, I dont think Swiss ever had 2nd star next to Kawhi which come to let him down in playoffs

With the weakened East, Bulls lack of depth compared to a general Swiss team shouldnt be felt too much in regular season too

It all depends on how if the SIM gives Morant the pop for the early start of this year (which they were kinda hinting at making some adjustments in the early part of this year). If he gets 2 4 stars with Morant and Ingram. We also know Capela is a big the SIM loves. Highly EFF scoring, great rebounding, and shot blocking.

The east was very difficult for me to rank with everyone below CLE.

My top rankings were CLE at 1 then 5 straight Western Conference teams with POR, DAL, GSW, Clippers, NOP.

After that point IMO it started to get difficult to rank the teams.

Why you guys rank based on sim though we already have the sim for sim rankings, would have been cool to see what people's real life projections would be of these teams

well if we were going of SIM rankings there is no way my team would have made the playoffs. The amount of SIM stars you get only tells a piece. I think individual rankings and how the team fits is more important.

For example if you have 3 guys with high scoring ratings but bad defense I think the SIM struggle to juggle there shot attempts and then there defense gets exposed. Sometimes the best guys are the guys with a lower Scoring rating so they don't steal shots away from guys you want to funnel shots too.

Essentially without getting too much in the weeds my ratings were more or less the best odds to win the championship. I'm sure because the east has more teams that it can beat up on they might have some better records than the West. But I still put you for example over those teams because I think there are multiple teams in the West that could make it to the finals (we just have a tough division especially with Dallas, you, and myself. Not sure that is the case in the east as currently constructed.

Next off-season we should try and get GM surveys done:

Which team made the best overall moves this offseason?
1. Golden State
2. Clippers/Toronto
3. Cleveland/Detroit/Spurs/Chicago/Dallas/NOP

Which one player acquisition will make the biggest impact?
1. Embiid
2. Gobert
3. Curry

What was the most underrated player acquisition?
1. Mike Conley
2. THT
3. Draymond Green

Which team will be most improved in 2021-22?
1. Utah
2. Detroit
3. Denver

What was the most surprising move of the offseason?
Donovan Mitchell trade

beat Chicago in the first round last year and Toronto has never made it past the first round, and in terms of SIM ratings I dont really see that team being much better it still only has 1 player ranked above 3.5 stars.

Indy i am worried about a bit but I think in a 7 game series I like the rotations i can throw at him. Ideally Indy takes out Cleveland in the 2nd round...

also like my additions vs subtractions this offseason: Wall, Hield, A. Gordon, McGee, Caruso, Winslow, A. Johnson vs LMA, Rose, Jordon, Powell, IT, Hami, Dunn, Miller

and was coming off a season where i was 9th in Offensive and 8th in Defensive overall and believe i have gotten better in both this offseason with all my young guys likely seeing rate increases as well. The only other teams that were top 10 in both those categories last year was New Orleans, Dallas, Portland, and Philly

I had 'em:

Chicago
Toronto
Charlotte
Indiana

But very tightly ranked. Really depends on what the Sim does with Zion. Sounded like they might take early season into account with younger players and... well...

It totally could, though I do favor Chicago over the rest. Obviously, what everyone wants to see is a second round 4/5 matchup between Charlotte and Toronto. Very possible too.
