When Vuc is back, I’d like them to introduce DJJ to the start lineup so we’re only having one interruption to the starting lineup. I’m very intrigued to see how that starting lineup meshes, at least until the trade deadline.
Caruso isn’t our longer term starter at the 4. He’s a bench player (a very good one) and a closer but he should go back to that 6th man role off the bench.

I don't know that I care, people get to obsessed with starting. All that matters is closing to me. I think DJJ is the best, and I'd probably start him to get him more minutes with good passers that get him good lob attempts.

I think Javonte. I want, and so I voted for DJJ.

I voted DJJ, but I thought about it and think Billy’s original lineup was the best with Green starting.
I acknowledge that DJJ is better, and would rather have him helping out a weak 2nd unit, being the pick and roll option there.

I see that people are favoring DJJ, but I think Vuc/DeRozan/Ball/Zach/Caruso is our best, most talented five, and it’s the group we close with anyway, so it might as well be our starting five. Better spacing too.
Bradley/DJJ/Javonte/Coby/Ayo off the bench.
The one argument for starting DJJ that I do see is that if we do acquire an upgrade at starting PF then we’ll have to effectively demote Caruso back to the bench, which may not be great for chemistry.

I've wanted DJJ at the 4 spot since the Bulls got him. In fact, I thought he would be battling PWill for the starting 4 at the beginning of the season.
Though he is expiring so you have to wonder if he'll be on the team by the trade deadline. But I guess that's a problem for the future...

I'd like to see Jones Jr start. But i'm fine with whoever so long as it's not Coby White again.

I don’t want Caruso starting. He is great in role off the bench.

Well I think it is Caruso tonight, but personally I like DJJ starting and Caruso finishing. I guess a lot depends on the matchups though. One thing though AC plays at such high energy I don't want him to get too beat up. DJJ has high energy and a little more size while not as good, but if he can give the other guys more rest thought the season I like that aspect of his usefulness. I mean I'm just glad we can have this discussion over who should we bring up from the G League to save the team discussion we have had for the past 5 years lol.
We have solid players that we get to work Pat and Coby in with instead of depending on those two to save the whole franchise. What a wonderful change.

If Caruso plays, then he'll start.
Now that Coby is back he will take up minutes from the other bench players.
Won't leave much to go around.

I would prefer DJJ, but probably it will be Caruso.

It's also the starting five that comes out firing on defense. I really like DJJ as a player but I do think he should be our primary backup big. His ability to jump out of the gym makes up a good bit for his size playing at the 4/5.
