He just doesn't have the ball handling for it right now.

I am not sure he ever will, to be frank.

I don't think he'll ever be elite but half of it is just decision making. Tightening handles isn't something impossible to do.

Bamba is just not a good basketball player. Low motor, low BBIQ.

It's a shame too because he has such good physical gifts. It's just not happening.

Takes more than physical gifts to be an effect basketball player.

Nice pass 4 feet away by Bamba. This guy is not very smart. Terry Rozier owns his a$$ tonight.

Suggs leaves nothing out there, you can't take that away from him. If nothing else his work ethic gives me hope he can overcome his current shortcomings

I think he is going to be fine eventually but Magic fans will have to be more patient than initially anticipated. He has a good demeanor.

These Hornets guards are embarrassing Mohammed on both ends of the floor. They just don't have any fear or respect of Bamba.
Lamelo just schooled him again with that floater buzzer beater.

I wish we had a capable and smart rim protector with short arms who's not a foul machine, someone that's going to draw at least a couple of fouls on the other end, will not be playing with the mentality of a 16 years old high school girl in the paint, won't be blocked multiple times by opposing guards and will not be jacking a ridiculous amount of threes believing he is Klay Thompson or something.

Until that moment we are stuck with 7+ foot soft chucker :banghead:

I'd like to see this team with Markelle Fultz back.

That was over WCJ.

You always just post anti-Bamba stuff.

All starters were + btw.

A good effort tonight but this team is struggling with the lack of guard depth right now.

I don't love giving Clifford credit for much of anything, but man it sure seems like he was on the money about Bamba from the jump.

Just tired of always seeing a scaoegoat on this forum. Every year it's someone new and every year we suck with new players. At some point everybody is just going to need to get better to become a winning franchise. I'm not worried about it because they're all very young still

Bamba still very hot and cold as far as good/effective games and games where he floats.
WCJ has very similar games but he's the opposite.. better against bruising big men and worse against fast guards
Suggs turnovers are bad, shot selection bad at times.
Cole same issue.
Franz is the closest thing we have to a complete player but he needs to get stronger with his handle and just in general with his strength

Good thing is there's a few C/PF prospects that we can use in the upcoming draft since we should be set in other positions. Obviously still always need a #1 guy.

I have more questions about our young team than confidence.

I've never seen a player like Bamba where the eye test and the stats are so at odds.

One thing is for sure, he's exploitable when it matters.

Are we set in any position? Maybe Franz at SF.

No surprise here, maybe the only surprise is we didn't get blown out. No Cole or Ross so didn't expect much. Besides that quick 17 point 1st quarter Suggs shot is just not going in, handles still bad too. I'm really hoping when Fultz comes back it will help take pressure off him and slow things down for him...Honestly don't see a win till maybe the Rockets it's gonna be rough.
