The best offensive flow they had this season, along with that Toronto game, was the first 3 quarters of the Lakers and Heat games without Killian.

I do think Killian has progressed as a long range shooter and a defender but he's not facilitating as well as he's capable of. Not to the point that they miss his playmaking much when he's out. I do think they miss his defending though. Westbrook and Herro went off without much resistance and were the keys to the 4th quarter runs that sunk the Pistons. I have little doubt that Killian would have at least made it more difficult for them.

In the Toronto game we had 34 assists and scored 127 points on the road.

The Lakers were lazy and waited until the 4th to turn it up. So the Toronto game, on the road, against another team trying to prove itself was clearly the best offensive flow we have seen this year.

I have clearly seen Cade nowhere near as comfortable the last couple since Killian has been out. It's obvious

He's been good. He's doing great on defense, is shooting 50% from 3 and had some great passes, he should have 1 or 2 more assists, guys missed easy shots after he created for them. The only bad thing is, he had a couple of bad TOs.

it has a lot more to do with miami and milwuakee playing heavy zone vs. us.

Cade has looked way more comfortable as the primary PG without Hayes

Not what I'm seeing, I'm used to seeing Killian and Cade keeping the ball moving and being much more comfortable taking turns with the pg duties. Killian is a much better passer than CoJo and Cade was benefitting from that. The 13 pts he scored against the Lakers turns into 18 with Killian.

I think you're seeing something different. I don't think Cade is uncomfortable at all with Killian out. If anything, he's becoming a little less aggressive with his shooting but the playmaking is clearly there even with some TOs mixed in.
Where Cade is struggling with Killian out is defensively, they work well as a tandem defensively.

Lol, what are you watching?. CoJo has been bringing the ball up as much or more than Killian was. Cade and Killian were sharing much of it, CoJo seems like he brings it up even more.

It seems that every time the Pistons have a couple/few good possessions in a row to get close they then turn right back around and have a couple of dumb possessions and let Milwaukee's lead go back to double digits again.

It's funny that people pick on Garza's defense and never say a thing about Bey. His defense is getting to be atrocious.

I swear, Cade has the worst luck with shots going in and out. It's remarkable how often that has happened with the mid range shots in particular.

And again, Killian is a far better passer than CoJo, Cade was getting a few better looks with Killian. The last couple he has not looked comfortable to me. A couple others said the same in this very thread. 13 against the Lakers turns to 18 with Killian.

Are you even watching this game? Cade is doing most of the ballhandling and is racking up the assists. His shot STILL can't fall but he's creating a lot for others.
Cade had a Triple Double without Killian. Kind of an odd hill for you to die on here.

If you want to say that Cade has been a highly inefficient scorer and even moreso without Killian I'd agree but to say that he's struggling as a ballhandler without Killian is flat out wrong.

No he has not, Cade is literally bringing the ball up the court almost every possession now. Hell do even notice how guys like Diallo and Lee are cutting to the rim threats for Cade?

Either way you can have your own view on the matter and I don't want to sound like a Hayes hater but you just way over exaggerate his offensive impact.

I know, it has happened a lot. A few games ago he missed a ton of 3 pointers and it seems like the ball was just barely off, millimeters off. Frustrating to see.

Lol, Lyles passed up the 3 correctly, not open, Cade gets it back to him and he was open and he hesitates and runs the clock out. Jeez
