Who is the BEST player on the Magic right now?

Injury's aside.....

I am loving WCJ. Shot is looking nice, strong dude, super long, good finisher. Reminds me of a more physical/athletic Horace Grant.

Can't count JI or Kelle until they come back.
What do y'all think?

Anthony played liked best player until he got hurt, Carter has propably the best ability but suffers from bad guard playmaking and Wagner has every chance to be best as soon as next year.

Isaac was our second-best player behind Vuc before he got injured, he'll likely be the best when he comes back.

I think WCJ is our most consistent player, but love him or hate him, I think Cole has been our best player this season.

The impact stats would tell you it's Cole Anthony by a wide margin. And Cole's best games this year have been better than anyone else's best games.

But I think Wendell has been a touch more consistent game-to-game. He's only had about 2-3 stinkers the entire year.

I think Cole is currently our best player but Wendell is in the process of challenging that. His last 2 games have been quality.

I hope we get to see Cole and Wendell playing well together pretty soon.

Franz is the best 2 way player. Cole is the best perimeter player, Suggs is the best defender, and WCJ is the best post player.

I think our best player right now is Wendell Carter Jr. Cole certainly scores the most points but to me he’s just a stat grabber. This team will never be a winner with Cole Anthony leading the charge. I do however think next season Franz Wagner may be the best overall player on the team.

It’s between WCJ and Franz right now. WCJ is the more consistent, but Franz is better at creating shot for himself and others (including WCJ). WCJ is reliable at getting to his spots and converting when the ball comes to him. Defensively, they both compete well where Franz is better on the perimeter and WCJ is better bodying his man up.

Cole would also be in the running, simply for being someone who can create and convert his shots right now.

Cole, WCJ, Franz, Suggs. Those are the 4 best right now. Also really the only 4 that matter until Isaac and Fultz come back.

This makes me laugh because I remember a few weeks back when the magic played the Nets ESPN was showing highlights of the game. Prior to showing the highlights they typically have a display of each team's best player or players. For the Nets they had Durant and Harden. For the Magic they had the Magic logo. I was thinking to myself ESPN is trying to troll the magic, lol.

But to answer your question I don't think the magic have a best player. They have a guy who can throw up shots in Cole but they do not have a best player.

This makes no sense. You can say we have no good players, which I would strongly disagree with. But every team, company, etc, has a best player, employee, etc, no matter how good or bad.

This seems to be negative just for the sake of being negative.

I find this thread bit pointless. We can have conversation how many Magic players are nba starting level players on + .500 teams. Being best on team that is horrid doesn't really mean all that much.

Cole Anthony or Wendell Carter, but I wouldn't be surprised if Franz Wagner ends up in that conversation by the end of the season.
