Boogie’s 10ish efficient minutes are super important with Brook and probably Giannis out. Hope he is fine.

Knee to the thigh hit related. Probably a bad bruise that bothers him. He needed the rest and this is a good opportunity for us because both the Raptors and this one are winable games without him. If it was the playoffs he would be playing on both of the games easily obviously. He averaged 35 points with a badly overextended knee...

Edit: I just saw that LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier have both entered COVID-19 health and safety protocols and the former changed jerseys with Giannis the other day. Oh boy...

Does Wes play tonight?
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Going to the game tonight to see PJ get his ring. Safe to assume it will happen after warm ups and before starters announced?

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

DrWood wrote:I don't understand why "load management" has to mean sitting a guy for the whole game. Like, play them 20-24 minutes. Are the players concerned about their per game stats?

I think it's both to give full rest and stats. To play in a game you u still have to go warm up and go through the whole routine so you don't pull anything. Then even if you are only playing 20 min you can't go 80%. You are still going full speed jumping as high as you can, running as hard as you can and then pushing against 250 pound men. That's not exactly a rest day.

But stats are a real thing. Between sitting out five games or rest in 8 and only playing 20 min would really screw his per game averages. Whether right or wrong those two points where he drops from 1 to 4 in scoring or rebounds really hurt his MVP chances. Whether he wants to admit it, Giannis and his management got to be thinking him sitting vs him playing a little could make the difference in MVP. He's at the point where another MVP and ring could really move him up the all time rankings (probably top 15). I wouldn't blame him too much if that was the case.

They'll probably do another small ceremony like they did for Bryn just before the game starts. I'd imagine Jim Paschke will be there to announce it again and Giannis and Khris will give him the ring.

Wes was at the shoot around today, it's possible he'll get a few minutes tonight.

Just saw a press conference with him posted and he said he’s good to go if coach wants him in. Would be nice especially if Giannis isn’t playing

What’s the deal with us grabbing guys who we couldn’t win with 2 years ago now hoping they’ll help us win when they’re even older?

Wes was starting for us two years ago. We have upgraded. He is an upgrade over the Greek guy we cut and whoever was the 15th man two years ago. It's not like we expect Wes to start.

I blame bubble. Not Wes or Hill.

As a matter of fact I miss Robin too.

wes was a starter two years ago on a team that won with epic pace in the regular season. now hes like the 12th man if everybodies healthy.

it was a great get imo. im assuming he wont get a minute in the playoffs unless theres injuries or blowouts

They should at least pretend it's a back or shoulder related injury...

Right at the end of the Charlotte game he copped a knee to the inside of his thigh. I said straight after I expected him to sit the next game vs Toronto as that would have definitely given him a corked leg. I think the injury is real but minor and also lets him get some rest while the leg heals.

I wonder what number Wes is going to be wearing for us since Bobby took what used to be his number
