Re: Trade Discussion 21/22
Luka is the least of this team's problems. He is the only player on this team that would start on a championship contender. They need to build a team to complement him.

Any chance Mavs could find a way to acquire SGA from the Thunder?

That's a long shot. SGA is very young. I'd say BKN will trade Harden before the Thunder let SGA go.

I don't know if is possible upgrade 3 starting position with only Brunson who has trade value. Maybe not.
The worst FO management i've never seen in my life.
So sad.

Re: Trade Discussion 21/22
Boucher is out of rotation in Toronto, his value is all time low... Maybe a 2RP could be enough.
Energy big, good shot blockers with points in his hands... He earns a try.
Dragic+Boucher for Powell and a couple of second.

I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I think Boucher is a decent player but with his frame how does he help a front court that already gets abused?41Dirk41 wrote:Boucher is out of rotation in Toronto, his value is all time low... Maybe a 2RP could be enough.

I don't know... it's only an idea... Maybe he will be the new Wood or maybe new Brown.
We have nothing to lose honestly...

Yes 2years older than Wood and not even close to him about quality for sure... But for cheap could be good, he has amazing games in the past (i remember one against us when we were up to 30+ and we lost).

Dallas receives: Buddy Hield, Mo Harkness, Alex Len, Eric Gordon
Sacremento recieves: Tim Hardaway, Dwight Powell, Willie-Cauley Stein, a first from Mavs
Houston receives: Marvin Bagley, Reggie Bullock, Miami's 2023 2nd via Mavs
C - KP / Alex Len or Moses / Boban
PF - Maxi / Harkless / Eugene
SF - DFS / Green / Brown
SG - Buddy / Gordon / Ntilikina
PG - Luka / Brunson / Burke
OR
C - KP / Alex Len or Moses / Boban
PF - DFS / Maxi / Eugene
SF - Luka / Harkless / Green
SG - Buddy / Ntilikina / Brown
PG - Brunson / Gordon / Burke
The Mavs gets a true floor spacer in Buddy with more playmaking skills to offer. Promoting Maxi and Eugene to bigger role generally add something on both end of the floor. Getting Cs for PF doesn't hurt. Harkless is fair PF/SF combo. We'll see how Josh Green / Moses Brown develop in a vaccum. Eric Gordon wins games. The Mavs gets cap space to keep DFS and Brunson next offseason.
Getting quantity for quality. At least, the Mavs gets elite shooters in Buddy and Gordon to pair up with the rest of the team. Harkness is not a bad short-term fix. A PF/SF combo is needed for the current Mavs roster.
The Mavs could also take Theis for TPE.
C - KP / Theis / Alex Len or Moses / Boban
PF - DFS / Maxi
SF - Luka / Harkless / Green
SG - Buddy / Ntilikina / Brown
PG - Brunson / Gordon / Burke
(assume one of Alex or Moses gets waived. Or both along with Burke joins Toronto as a potential Dragic trade.

Luka doesn't want out yet. But another few years like that might change his perception.
I believe Luka's father has very little to say about Luka's carrier, he has missed the most important part of it, so I doubt very much that he has any kind of influence. You should take Luka's father as a nice guest, who enjoys life as a visitor of a superstar.
It's clearly like this.
Luka isn't Dirk, he is not loyalty to Dallas... He came here when he was yet a superstar, he won all in Europe and now he want win all in NBA.
He never waited so long before to win and when he came to NBA his words were clear... Compete in 4/5 years. Tic toc tic toc...
Plus the interviews for web site and in general are useless, don't read that ****.
Again, how do you know Luka is not loyal to Dallas? You make comments as if you know him personally. Did he tell you that? Has he told you f-Dallas I’m out as soon as I get a chance? If not you’re just making **** up. If that’s your opinion fine, say that, but don’t comment like you know him personally.
I'm not the only one who think that my friend

Re: Trade Discussion 21/22
Kyrie + Joe Harris + Claxton for THJ + Powell + WCS + Brunson + either Green or Brown, Mavs eat Jevon Carter and Bembry into TPE, and any other player they want to unload.
Go big!
Nets get a shooter to replace sidelined Joe Harris, who sucked before getting injured, get a scoring PG, save tons of money (~50 million $), get rid of Kyrie for 2 usable players, have Powell's expring next season to trade for someone they want.

I pretty much feel the same.daoneandonly wrote:HMFFL wrote:The New York Knicks are shopping Kemba Walker. He intrigues me, but his knees are shot, so he's more of a 20mins or less per game player at this point.
It's worth checking in to see what the Knicks would be interested in. Maybe just a swap in contracts.
Kemba Walker signed a 2 year / $17,894,491 contract with the New York Knicks, including $17,894,491 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $8,947,246. In 2021-22, Walker will earn a base salary of $8,729,020, while carrying a cap hit of $8,729,020 and a dead cap value of $8,729,020

Only guy I;d trade straight up for him is Powell. Unless w cna get our '23 first back, then I wouldnt mind doing a Brunson swap
The Knicks probably expect some value and not just a body, so I doubt Kemba is obtainable.
I prefer to keep Brunson for now buy he could cost more than Brunson this offseason.

Of course Lakers fans think that. They also think they’re getting Dame, Jokic, and Giannis in addition to Luka.
