Crazy game of runs. Portland went on a 21-4 run to go ahead by 6 and then Memphis went on a 26-4 run to go up 12.

Portland putting on some performance art of the various ways to lose a game. I'm not sure why I'm still watching the games.

This team is just Bad bad.... in reality, this is just what the team is going to look like when Lillard is a JAG. It really goes to show how much Lillard has carried this roster over the past years.

Give it another week... However, they're going to need to shut him down soon. He looks like a shell of himself at this point. Can't finish with consistency... looks slow on most nights... and can't shoot. I LOVE Lillard. However, this shouldn't be allowed to go on much longer, and it's bad for the Blazers long-term to try and tough out the season with the hot garbage they display on the court.

CJ HAS TO GO. He's needed to go for years. move him for basically anything and a 1st. I wouldn't be utterly opposed to keeping Nurk around as I don't think he'll get much on the open market. However if he has any value he and Covington should go to.

Roll out Nance, Simons, Powell, Little and whatever for the rest of the season then hope the ping pong balls bounce your way.

There's really no point in bringing in some Sabonis/Simmons/Turner type player without seeing Dame return to normal. It hamstrings the Blazers going forward and without the return of superstar Lillard.. it's irrelevant to the ability of the Blazers to be successful in the playoffs.

Looks like I picked the right time to not go out on a cold, rainy night to go to tonight's game.

I've got Dish and don't have the option of watching the games on TV. Lot's of empty seats?

Its tough right now. Portland overachieved for years based on Lillard's mojo and he's gotta find that again. Fingers crossed because this team totally lacks confidence in themselves otherwise.

I don't really think it's "mojo" at this point. He doesn't look right. He may "feel" fine with his new cortisone shot. But he doesn't look it. He doesn't look like the same player.

I think there has been just too many things working against Dame this season. First and foremost is the abdomen injury

but besides the injury, ) it was a shortened off-season made extremely short for Dame because of the Olympics ) new foul rules that have really hurt smaller players like Dame ) new basketball ) new coach and offensive system. Speaking of which: I think Billups deciding that Dame should play a lot more off the ball has been a really bad decision. I think it has made it really hard for Dame to regain any consistent rhythm....

and it hasn't done the Blazers any good either. In tonight's game Simons spent a lot of time bringing the ball down and initiating the offense...and it was a disaster. Billups needs to $hitcan that Dame-off-the-ball idea if Portland doesn't sit Dame

something else....this is the first season Dame has played as a married man. Maybe Cronin's first task should be an annulment

I am this close to start rooting for losses, the pick we owe is lottery protected so we could get a 1-14 pick this season.

I can't remember the last time a Blazers team with Lillard as the main guy lost 7 games in a row. Obviously Lillard was injured for a good chunk of this losing streak but still.

I wouldn't "blame" Lillard for any of this... But Portland can't be good if he's going to continue to trot out there and play poorly.

There are a myriad of other issues plaguing the team, but they're all moot if he's going to be an average to poor player.

It makes me jealous to see other teams with great defenders like Dillon Brooks, Mikal Bridges pressuring up at half court while our players play 0 perimeter defense outside of maybe Nassir. Ben Simmons cant shoot but it would be a joy to watch someone play defense for once.

I was somewhat believing what he was saying until he dropped "We need Ben Simmons!" Nah bro we sure as **** don't, even if Ben loves being a Blazer he still is the type of player that has spent about 0 minutes on working on his game since he entered the NBA.

I think the fan base would turn on Ben even fully engaged as being a Blazer in about 3 months. I think every Blazer fan would be calling for his head and calling it the worst trade ever if we actually swapped Lilllard for Simmons+picks+Maxey or something like that.

I'm also not sure how the **** he claims Lillard is a ball hog when he has averaged 19 attempts a game, which puts him below many other players. The team has a lot more issues beyond Lillard apparently shooting too many times.

I think Little and Norm both play solid perimeter defense. Nance does as well on most guys. There's some defenders on this team..

One of the primary issues I see with the defense is that they have their defenders constantly defending out of.position and they're trying to one trick pony their way to a good defense without having the personnel for it.

It's like never blitzing in the NFL when you have a D-Line that can't pressure the quarterback. They'd be a lot better off mixing back in the drop scheme while still hedging with zine mixed in. I saw some stat that Portland jumps out on something like 65% of pick and rolls. The next highs team was like 40%... The only team in that vicinity over the past few years was the Hoiberg Bulls.

The Blazers don't have the personnel to line up and beat.you defensively. I don't understand why they also insist on not trying to mix it up to give an offense more uncertainty and help give them an edge.
