Lakers beat themselves again tonight. Plenty of opportunities. Turned the ball over 20 times and allowed the Bulls to score 29 points off those TO's. Allowed the Bulls to grab 16 offensive rebounds and they scored 16 second chance points off those. And Derozan torched the Lakers for another 38 points. Oh well.

Considering AD’s injury and being short handed and having a chance to win.. that’s a horrible, horrible loss.

I just can’t believe how badly we screwed up the off season. Can’t believe it.

- Had a chance to get DeRozan for a Kuzma sign and trade. Didn’t do it.

- Had a chance to get Buddy Hield for Kuzma and Harrell. Didn’t do it. Then made the Westbrook trade and we included KCP and a 1st round pick to do it.

- Cheaped out and didn’t re-sign Caruso.

Pathetic. We deserve the luck we’ve gotten for those pathetic decisions.

Westbrook isn't the only problem. While Bron is scoring at his typical rate the rest of his game is showing its age. Melo is good for a 20 point game every month and beyond that we have a team of 9th men. Thomas is showing he can score and even seems to fit defensively.

This team will struggle to be .500 is my guess. LeBron will miss more time is my guess as well.

If they had guts they'd blow this thing up at the deadline. They won't and they will try and patch this together again next year for a run with similar results.

This "run" is a little like the 08 Celtics where they won one and then everyone stayed 2 or 3 seasons too long.

I’m just lost how the front office looked at Westbrook and Derozan, and not only chose Westbrook, but gave up additional resources to do it. Just bad

Lebron aside from the Minny game has looked good to great in my opinion. He cant keep that play up for every game. This game he did damage in different ways. PNR with Russ helped garner some easy buckets. Russ was supposed to take the weight off of Lebron :lol:

so far this season Lebron has had to playmake-Score-guard opposing teams Center. Of course he wont look spry. He'll probably injure himself and Russ will implode running the show.

Yeah, we could have gotten Derozan and kept Caruso for less than what it cost to get Westbrook. Pelinka deserves to be fired for that, if this season goes down the drain like it looks now.

29 other GMs would kill to have the chance to build around LeBron and AD in LA. This walking motivational poster got handed that on a platter and still manages to make it look bad.

Let's be real... If this had worked, Pelinka would have gotten very little credit... It would have mostly gone to LeBron and Klutch...
I think we need to do the same with the blame... I really don't think Pelinka had a whole lot to do with this roster... Even he wouldn't have gone this far with it... This is a Klutch/Lebron pressure roster... And so let's keep the heat where it belongs.
Getting a group of bros together and trying to win it all, just doesn't work that well... There has to be some purpose beyond liking everyone, behind it.

Did anybody like fitz coaching last night?
1 thing he can feign is defensive coaching.
Point of attack , turnovers , etc.

Actually I noticed him make some adjustments that seemed to sway the game here and there.

Possible free look and possible Vogel replacement ?
Thoughts?
