I believe he will, just not this year.

As Morris injury keeps lingering, praying to the basketball gods for Kevin Love to Mia. I was out with a spinal contusion from playing highschool football that kept me out from the ball team for a month. This has been two months now with Morris.

Only way we can swing that is if he’s bought out and we offer him a starting spot imo b

Buyout is the only way sir.

I think Love wouldnt have a problem coming off the bench as long as he a intrical part of the rotation.

I do think Cavs recent success may cause the Cavs to be resistent in buying out Love this year. And Heats injury my be a deterence for buyout high level players to come here.

Yea maybe so, would be hard to sway him from someone like the Warriors, Bucks, Suns but we may be able to

Lowry? especially with how he has played so far ? naw. Also remember if Oladripo is anything close to being back, he will command a hefty contract this offseason.

So you're good with possibly losing him for nothing, right after Houston swaps Miami's 1st rounder for Brooklyn's?

It's also quite possible Oladipo could be the 2nd or 3rd best player with Miami for the next 3 years, if he's not that good no need to spend money on him unless it's a good value. All it will cost is tax money, Miami isn't going to have capspace with Butler, Bam, Lowry and Robinson's contracts. As much as Oladipo may want to be in Miami, this is probably going to be his last contract to make good money in his NBA career so I don't see him doing any favors for Miami after being on the minimum this year.

Going into the tax for the next few seasons is probably the reason Miami isn't going into the tax this year.

Interesting..

Read on Twitter

Golden State Warriors Are World’s Favorite Team

Perhaps unsurprisingly, considering their popularity across most continents, the Golden State Warriors top the charts as most popular US sports team around the world, taking the crown in an astounding 56 countries (more than the next six best-performing teams combined).

The Miami Heat come in second with the vote of 16 countries, while the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks have 12 and 10, respectively. Curiously, the top 10 US sports teams around the world are all from the NBA, with NFL not featured until the Dallas Cowboys in 11th.

Which Teams Are The Center Of Global Conversation?

By collecting the 10 most popular US sports teams in each country, and weighting them based on ranking, we’ve been able to determine which teams are the main focus of global conversations.

The Golden State Warriors are ranked as the most talked about team around the world with a weighted score of 1080, likely thanks to their three NBA Championship titles in recent years and popularity of superstar Stephen Curry. The Warriors are followed by Miami Heat (704), Chicago Bulls (585) and Boston Celtics (554), while the Brooklyn Nets (523) round out the top five.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

it depends in what version of oladipo shows up. if a shell of its former self shows up then no. there are better and younger players out there waiting for a opportunity to play, again if he doesnt show up like we expect to

Absolutely, if he's not good you move on unless he's cheap but if he comes back strong but rusty, I'd roll the dice on him with a sizable contract (although I'd probably only do a 3 year contract) if the medical staff green lights him after the season.

It is kinda shocking how good the young guys have been. This is quickly shaping up to be a very fun season. From the dominance out of the gate to bench players going hard every game, this has been a deeply rewarding season so far.

This is up there with the back half of the Dion season, and the Bubble year.

Can't wait until Martin is back in the fold.

I know Bam, Morris, Dipo and Butler will be back sooner or later, but it was great to see the young guys hold down the fort.

I think the biggest surprise is that the Lakers don't even make the top 5. Arguably the most iconic franchise in all of basketball, won a championship not too long ago, and they still have Bron + AD.

This was done purely on the team, so the Lakers (& Bucks) suffer for having stars that are a global phenomenon. The team is second to the star. The Heat, Bulls & Celtics are opposite to this.

Lakers have long been defined by their stars. Showtime, Shaq, Kobe, now LeBron. Despite Bron being great for sales, he’s done little for brand growth and interest. It’s largely Bron stans that shift with him, we saw that and the Cavs have seen it, twice.

Heat have been playing 500 basketball since Bam injury. Currently 6 games over 500 for the year. Ideally I would be more comfortable if they can creep up to 10 games over 500. Don't know how realistic that is. Maybe 8 games over 500 is more realistic goal.

He’s getting better as we go, only issue has been an inconsistent 3 and at times maybe too passive

Looking at our schedule we shouldn’t lose more than 1 out of the next 6 but we also shouldn’t have lost the Detroit game so you never know. I hope Jimmy comes back against Detroit and stays healthy

They’re just straight up not a fun team to watch. The expectations of a LeBron led team honestly suck a lot of the fun out of the season until you raise the trophy at the end of the year. For example, Wade is by far my favorite player ever. No one even comes close, but I have more fun with these Jimmy Butler led teams than I did with the big 3 Heat. Or maybe I’ve just forgotten the feeling.

Could not agree more….

I don’t fault anyone for wanting to move parts around to land this great player or that great player…. But for me personally i really enjoy this more Organic approach of watching players achieve their potential.

It’s easier for me to find wins with each accomplishment and sign of growth. During the big 3 it was more like whatever wait for the playoffs.

This is a very fun time to be a Miami fan.

Yeah I can agree they're not fun to watch, but it's still amazing that the fanbase they've built isn't reflected. Maybe it's the fact that rest of the world has only started watching NBA relative to how much North America has.

As far as Big 3 Heat vs Jimmy Heat, I loved watching both for different reasons. The Big 3 were a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so I enjoyed every moment of it, but the Jimmy teams I look forward to watching our younger guys develop and seeing if they can become a contender.
