Minnesota is so inconsistent. Could totally see them winning a play-in game.

It's amusing how every couple of weeks they have a big win to get them to .500 and Towns preaches in his post game interview that he's a winner now and things are different.

He's kinda cruising through his early prime. If they can upgrade Russell to someone more useful and upgrade role players maybe he comes to life a bit more on a better team. Maybe Ant takes over. Lots of room for improvement I guess.

Celtics really need to sign Josh Smith so they can get the whole Atlanta big 3 back together.

This Joe Johnson to the Celtics thing is a complete Travest-shammockery. He needed to be in MKE.

It's incredible that Joe Johnson is a 7x allstar, what a weak era for the NBA. Khris is a good deal better and won't be sniffing 7 allstars

IDK dumb question but is JJ a Hall of Famer? He still put up 20k points and everyone above him is in.

Here Mitch Richmond thought his spot in top 50 scorers of all-time was safe for another year and JJ is going come out of no where to pass him.

With some of the other names that have gotten in, I'm not sure how you could leave a 7x allstar out of the hall of fame. I don't like it though, takes away the point of the hall of fame when players at the level of Joe Johnson are getting in

ISO Joe is a weird case. As I've pointed out, nobody with 5 or more ASGs has ever not made the Hall, but as others pointed out to me, he's only made one All-NBA team, and it was 3rd. His argument is cumulative -- the fact that nobody would have ever, at any point during his career, had him as a top 10 guy is a major knock. Reggie Miller is kind of the standard bearer for quantity over quality, and even he's got 3 All-NBA teams (all 3rd of course), and substantially more longevity (5k more points). 20,000 points is still a lot to be left out, though.

Paul Pierce is the quantity over quality standard bearer for me. If KG and Ray don't come along and bail out his legacy, I'm not too sure him and Joe aren't looked at in the exact same light. Neither guy was ever a serious MVP candidate nor could you make a case that they were ever Top-5 or even Top-10 players in the league.

I actually think Joe is a little underrated. Because he benefited from good timing he had a gigantic contract and got an 'overpaid' lable that basically stuck with him his whole career but he was a really good player for a long time. He was also a little ahead of his time as a wing who could also be a primary ball handler. He wasn't super elite at anything but he was very good at basically everything. If Robert Sarver wasn't a **** face and hadn't low balled him on the early extension I think the suns win a championship or two with Joe. That happens and we view his career completely differently.

He absolutely belongs in the HoF considering their standards.
