Buying Low for Kyrie

Hello, Pels Nation!

For whoever reads this, I have made a trade that I feel helps both Brooklyn and New Orleans. We all know the familiarity of these two front offices with one another, and KAI shares a Duke background with Zion and Brandon. Here is the deal. It works starting December 15th, when new contracts are tradeable:

Graham, Satoransky, Hayes, Louzada, 22SAC2nd, 22CLE2nd, 24LAL1st, 24MIL1st

Kyrie would instantly create a more exciting brand of basketball. He is ready to play, and without a vaccine mandate in the state of Louisiana, he's good to go. Jevon is a good deep bench PG, who adds toughness and defense to the rotation. Nic is an uber-athletic big who could fit behind or beside Jonas. James is a versatile vet.

The future picks (2 2nds and 2 1sts) are a drop in the bucket of their youth asset base, and help to balance value.

I highly doubt Kyrie would ever play a minute for the Pels. He would just pull a Simmons or retire. Also not sure Kyrie is the kind of Vet I would want and a young team.

Having said that (and I agree)...if he got his head on straight and tried to salvage his legacy, a big 3 of Kyrie, Zion, and Ingram, with Valenciunas, Hart, NAW, etc is an immediately relevant team...BRK would have to be pretty desperate to accept this offer and, I assume, if Kyrie's camp let it be known that he's ready to rock in another city, the offers to BRK would get much stronger...OP's move would save Griffin's butt (at least until Kyrie flaked out on NOLA).

Ya that's the thing, I dont see why the Nets would do this trade.

Graham is neutral I guess, if anything he has negative value. He is a bench guard at best on a 4/47 deal. Not bad but not great either
Sato/Hayes/Louzada are just fillers. They have zero value.
So basically the trade for Kyrie are 2 2nds and 2 future 1sts.

Im sure teams could beat that offer pretty quick. And again from the Pels point of view. Kyrie has a player option at the end of this year. So even if Kyrie agrees to play after being traded, what are the chances they keep him around after this year. So I would have my doubts he would ever even play a game with Zion.
