They had like three or four tv shows going on and doing live tours. Hard to be a good husband and father doing that.

Brandy old fashioneds are...fine. I'll drink one. But even sour they're too sweet. I just want a normal bourbon old fashioned. So I was out last night at a new-to-me restaurant, and had a couple nice cocktails. Everyone in my group seemed to like what they were getting. I decided to end the night with an old fashioned - bourbon, not brandy.
They made me a **** brandy old fashioned but with bourbon. Sour mix, muddled fruit - full 12oz of liquid. FOH with that, don't ruin my perfectly good bourbon and bitters. Can tell I'm definitely back in Wisconsin, though
Just give me bourbon with one cube.

Right, because he was on the road and working, it would appear his marriage fell apart. My guess is that this is him trying to save it.

I don't know if you knew this guy/channel or if it was just dumb luck it came up on your feed, but I think he's great and I've since been making my way through his channel. And he's apparently from Door County which is cool - he has a whole video about bitters shots.

Might as well just leave. No vaccine would give him immunity before the start of the tourney.

Always thought it was weird and dumb athletes got exemptions. Like I need to be vaccinated and tested to go to Canada for a manufacturing job but Kyrie up until this month can go to play a game? I guess it was put in place because of lack of vaccine accessibility but make them come up 2 weeks in advance, get a shot and quarantine if the game is that important.

Well at least whoever was going to come in 2nd can win now.

I'm sure the story isn't over, but it was a pretty swift resolution here all things considered.

Supposedly he got a medical exemption but when it came time to prove it, it all fell apart.
Honestly, it's a sh*t show and he shouldn't have ever been 'approved' for an exemption in the first place. Denying the visa the moment he lands is even worse. I would be livid if I was him. Reject it properly at the start, don't waste my time.
Plus it makes Aus look like it's run by numpties (even though that is the truth).

They can claim whatever they want about what happened with his exemption, but in all likelihood, per usual it was all about money.
Aussie Open sponsors likely tried to use their power and influence to make sure the #1 player in the world was able to come and play in the tourney. Djokovic landed and the public outcry began, and officials caved to the pressure.
Like I said earlier, he might as well leave because no vaccine would take effect in time. Even if there was some magic potion that could, he is stuck in a hotel room without the ability to practice or train.
