Who dat guy?

probably just some random person on Twitter who thinks he's an NBA insider lol

But I posted it because it's an interesting deal I would probably do if I'm the C's..

Ugh, I wouldn't. Ross isn't worth going (further) into the tax for, much less the pick with our record this year. Juancho should be going out to duck the tax with no return (or in combo with Shroder).

I'm all for giving up our picks for the foreseeable future, but I'm not sure I give this pick up for TRoss unless we aren't around play-in games. There has to be a reason he had to stay toiling in Orlando year after year when he could easily be a heater off a contender/pretender's bench. What's wrong with him? 12m per has been little money for seasons now, no real team wanted to take a flyer (no way he wasn't available)? I'm not saying I say no for the 15th or so pick, but it's not an easy yes, even though I know we don't need anymore picks!

I don't think we will have any real chance to miss the playoffs this season, even with our poor play atm, but that proposal said protected top 5, uh no, I'm not even risking it being top 10 for Ross!

If he can stay healthy, the Celtics may already have their 3rd All Star in Rob Williams. Staying health is a huge IF for Williams, but he's top 20 in win shares, wins per 48 minutes, and top 5 in blocks per game.

With Bradley Beal likely being unavailable, they should try to add a scorer/shooter, with size, in the interim. If Cam Reddish is truly available, Stevens should be all over that.

Not sure I understand the thing of "we don't need anymore young guys/picks etc.. having the 16th pick last draft would have netted us Sengun, who we certainly could use now and even with Horford and RW having their age and injury issues.

picks have value if yoy draft well. D Banes says Hello.

Not saying don't trade pick/s etc.. just make it a good one.

We need to get older, not younger. 10 youngest teams in NBA last season: OKC, MIN, MEM, ORL, DET, NOR, BOS, CHA, SAC, SAN. None of them were a contender and most of them were at the bottom of the standings.

You want to waste a year of Tatum/Brown in their prime? Then keep adding more young kid development projects to the roster.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

could have had plenty of good players over the years, just because they are there doesn't mean they would end up on the Cs. Who knows who POBO would have picked.

Hali/Beal/Barnes/Tatum/Rob

Jaylen averages around 6 potential assists per game. Beal registered 17 assists and 2 turnovers in his last game.

Still can't, still won't trade Smart and Grant in that Beal S&T. Get your salary ballast elsewhere haha.

They can have Richardson/Al+ Sorry Anna :(

Beal would be completely reinvigorated playing with Tatum, and Celtics fans underestimate how different it is being the guy defenses game plan against (Beal) versus the guy who plays off of someone else (Jaylen). Now I wouldn’t trade Jaylen for Beal, because that alone still wouldn’t be enough, but we won’t need to. But Jaylen elsewhere for better roster balance+Beal? Yes please, dude would FEAST on secondary defenders. And obviously he’s light years ahead as a playmaker.

LOL, give up a lottery pick (potentially) and pay more luxury tax for Terence Ross? So he's the missing piece who will make the Celtics a legitimate contender? I don't think so.

I’d be all for Marcus for Bogdanovich.

Didn’t we just have Bogdanovic in Evan Fournier?

Because he's old, he likes it here and is ideally a backup 5 right now already...

Yeah that's probably what Horford's thinking right now. I'm old, I'm a backup 5 to Timelord and Bruno Fernando. I'll sign with Boston for the minimum instead of winning Rangz with contenders.

Read on Twitter

Beal might think twice about teaming up with Tatum when Tatum 2.0 is already on his team.

Agreed in general, but cmon, in no world is Bruno going to be ahead of anyone on an NBA depth chart.
