Kings Won't Make Any Player Untouchable In Trade Talks

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jan 5, 2022 5:36 pm

Vivek Ranadive has given Monte McNair the authority to make any move necessary for the Sacramento Kings to return to the playoffs, sources tell Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The Kings have a 16-23 record, but remain in contention for the play-in due to the Western Conference having a down year outside the top-4.

The Kings would prefer to keep building around De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton, but no player is considered off the table in potential talks.

Ben Simmons remains a target for the Kings, but sources say the Philadelphia 76ers continue to ask for a truly elite player in return such as Damian Lillard or Bradley Beal.

Interesting since other writers looking for click bait say the opposite that those two are off the table. I'll believe them since they dont work for the athletic.

you will never be in the playoffs when you get rid of players. Kings are never going to be good again. Shaq needs a refund on his ownership stake in the Sacramento dumb asses

I don’t believe winning has anything to do with a return on your investment in the NBA. Look at the Clippers. Sterling had them buried for decades and he still sold the franchise for $2 billion.

Shaq isn’t losing money on the Kings, or anything for that matter.
