PG: Depleted Bucks run out of gas

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Jan 6, 2022 3:26 am

Fast forward to mid April please.

Good job Mamu and Boogie. Jrue's 8 TO's didn't help.

Hopefully Giannis back on Friday
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I feel like playing hard in the second half before the final 2 minutes could have benefitted us.

"We will see you again and we will be at full strength... hopefully"/

That was a good one from Marques there.

Once we stopped making threes their length and physicality bothered us and outside of Wes/Jrue we had no one on the other end that could replicate that.

Middleton was a total **** show defensively. But nice to see him make shots once the game didn't matter. Hopefully a positive sign :dontknow:

I’m honestly amazed we scored 77 in the first half, because we looked like a G league team in the second half.

It’s a shame to watch these games with all the missing players. Let’s please get healthy soon.

I would have kept Boogie around but I guess we'll see how it plays out.

Yeah we were short handed but that doesn't excuse whatever that was they were doing out there in the 2nd half.

Second half some was effort and turnovers, much of it was law of averages. No way we could keep up the first half shooting. Overall we shot well tonight. Enjoyed Mamu. Nwora is no longer just a chucker.

So we are opting for not having a center on the roster at all….

Wonder if he had too many missed assignments or analytics were off the chart bad on d. Looked solid the last few games. Maybe a statement that you need to play d?

Hopefully the uptick in upcoming competition will wake up the championship spirit in these guys, maybe they’ll play with energy for 40% of the game, instead of 25% like they are now.

Easiest schedule in the league and having the 8th or 9th best record in the league while every team has been playing g leaguers for the past month feels like a waste also.

And can we stop getting bullied by the raptors every matchup? Damn lol

If we **** around too much in the regular season and end up a 6 seed or something it’s going to make repeating nearly impossible. I enjoyed the KVH lead Bucks regular seasons more than this. Between the injuries, COVID, and nobody giving any effort it’s been an awful team to watch thus far.

You are correct, their defensive rating with him on the floor was off the charts bad.
