Game 41: Bucks at Nets - 1/7/22 - 6:30 - BSWI/ESPN

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Jan 6, 2022 7:15 pm

We reach the halfway point in the season. No word on if Giannis and Hill will play. Nwora only missed one game in protocols so maybe Garyson and/or Pat can return but I wouldn't count on it. No line out yet pending on who's actually playing. We played horribly Monday, played part good, part bad Wednesday.

First of a back to back, at Charlotte Saturday.

I've always liked Durant. Especially with his shoe one inch too long and then going 0-7 in OT. Seriously he's a great player and I enjoy watching him. Harden not so much.

Go Bucks
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Again, get me to the playoffs with a top 4 record and healthy. I don't lose sleep after losing to Detroit and Toronto.

Remember our slow start when people were thinking we wouldn't make the play-in game? Then we got healthy and we dominated for 15 games.

Hoping Gianni was held out to rest for tomorrow's game. Debating on driving down.

In a normal season, I'd agree, but when you have most of your team available and don't know if the next game you'll have to draw on part-timers because everyone is out, you need to bank every win you can. Those games against the Detroits of the world do become more crucial than ever with such unpredictability about our line-up from game to game.

Especially our line-up. I believe that we have easily played the most starting combinations in the league, and by far have put out more 5-man combinations out on the floor than any other team.

I think we have had 496 different 5-man line-ups this season, as opposed to someone like Utah that has had 129 different line-ups, and even a team that you think has been impacted a lot like BKN, that has had 315 different line-ups.

I’m sure Middleton will get it again since he got it early.

Feels like Jrue just got out of health and safety last week.

Ima judge this one on if the bucks play like they care at all, and not by a loss or win. I’ve never been a “regular season doesn’t matter” guy, but with all the
Covid/injuries/low energy games, this **** has been terrible up to this point.

I wonder if Holiday's play against Toronto (8 turnovers) and a poor second half with only 4 points on 1 of 7 shooting and 6 turnovers was partially the result of virus impact.

Not making an excuse, just wondering if it had an impact.

I'm assuming from the injury report Giannis is in? If so maybe it's doable if Giannis plays PG essentially. :(

I haven't been following too closely.

Is Giannis covid related?
Injury related? If so what injury?
Or load management?

Play the scrubs, let the Nets win by 50 and pound their chests, and move on. Although our scrubs really gave their starters a run for their money during the preseason.
