Game 42: Bucks at Hornets - 1/8/22 - 6:00 - BSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Jan 8, 2022 5:13 am

The second half of the season kicks off in Charlotte. Second of a back to back. And the first of 2 in Charlotte (Monday is game 2).

Charlotte is rested (last played Wednesday). We played Friday night. They're heathy. We're depleted.

It's possible Giannis could sit but I think we roll with what we had vs the Nets.

These guys played hard and played well against the Nets. This game is winnable.

Go Bucks
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hornets are a fun young team. I'm not rooting for them tomorrow but they are fun

The Hornets are Pistons/Atlanta level bad defense. No reason we can't score on them. Let's score more. Perhaps... 16 more?

Guessing they'll swarm Giannis, need to hit threes and stop sexy Oubre from going off.

I suspect that they have been planning that had Giannis had to exert himself against the Nets, but he only played just under 27 minutes, so i suspect he'll be good to go.

I assume that Wes' knee will be okay. Do we get anyone else back?

The Bucks finishing the first half 26-15 was good considering we were never healthy. I hope the second half is better and Brook is back eventually. Although I suspect maybe Bobby has earned the starter C spot at this point.

Brook would be a welcome sight for 20+ minutes off the bench.

As disappointed as I am with Semi, I'm honestly fascinated by how somebody can fall off so hard. He has a Markelle Fultz situation going on.

Bucks 1 point underdogs. We beat them by 2 earlier this season when we were healthy. LeMelo and Oubre had great games. Hornets jumped out to an early 18 point lead. Bucks won by 2 on a Giannis layup with 2 seconds left. Giannis had 40/12.

Gonna be a tough one. Charlotte will be up for this one.

If Charlotte shoots like they did in our previous game we don't have the offense required to keep up with them. That's a scheduled loss with the usual way. We hold for a half and then we collapse in the 3rd.

10 minutes a game. We'll want to use some Giannis at center lineups to prepare for the playoffs.

I like the Hornets. Some good talent. Fun to watch. Game 7 against them was the loudest game I've ever attended. Barron Davis, Mashburn, Wesley, Brown, Campbell with Magloire off the bench

The Hornets the the NBA's 3rd best offensive rating, and the 3rd worst defensive rating.

Apparently Jrue is out of protocols but is out tonight with a sore ankle. Same with Hill

Jrue only missing two games is a plus regardless. Let’s see what the scrubs have again tonight!
