Still a good show though. S4 was an easy watch, breezed through in 2 days lol.

Really? I thought it was great. I guesses where they are going with this, but I don't want to give any spoilers trying to explain it.

The first 2 or 3 episodes were good then it meandered into boring uninteresting sub plots like Zoya mentioned.

I got into this last night and it's excellent. Thx for the recommendation.

One of the top 3 comic swordfight scenes in movie history, IMO, along with The Princess Bride and the Gene Kelly version of The Three Musketeers.

It can be construed as an allegory for the current Celtics.

Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Wow I totally forgot where the “boo this man” gif came from.

RIP Bob. I remember being stunned to find your stand up and how ducking good it was.

I used to love Full House (haven't finished Fuller House). A few years ago I was channel surfing and I saw Bob, so I stopped thinking "this is about to be corny," I don't even remember what comedy special it was but man was I in shock. it was pretty funny once I got over who was talking. it made me like him even more because all I knew was "sweet dad" but he pulled off "REAL DAD" even better, which to me, is a mixture of both! Good dude!

RIP

I guess everybody going these days. :nonono: :nonono:

Eternals is free on Disney+ now. It's pretty meh overall but worth checking out if you're a big Marvel fan. I had a hard time with several aspects of the plot and premise but there were some good scenes and some pretty cool new superheroes to meet I guess.

1883 is really good. It's got Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliot. Already had a cameo by Tom Hanks. It's on Paramount+

This is a terrific listen after you've seen the entire series. TV is a matter of taste and personal preference, but Station Eleven is the best thing that's been created during this pandemic, maybe ever hahaha. I'm obsessed with this show and anything associated with it.

Have you read the book? I liked it a lot and curious how the show compares.

Totally behind the eight-ball here but finally started watching Succession. It's great, highly recommended.

I haven't but I plan to, very soon. I hear the limited series was mostly faithful to the novel.

Station Eleven is absolutely superb. The way they tied all the different characters and aspects of the story together was surprising and masterful. I still have two episodes to watch and I'm super excited about it.

Anyone else watching Boba Fett on Disney? It's kinda fun I guess but not as good as I want it to be. There's only 3 episodes so far but I'm still waiting for an actual plot. And I don't especially care for the casting. The guy who plays Boba and the gal who plays his main sidekick still need to win me over. It's cool to see Tatooine and all the Star Wars characters but the show feels pointless so far.

One more thing... not sure if I've already mentioned Yellowjackets on Showtime but it's pretty amazing. Probably my 2nd favorite recent show after Station Eleven.

It turns out I HAVE READ the book back in 2014 :o, according to my Goodreads account, and just forgot about it. I re-read it yesterday and I have to say the mini-series is so much richer and better told. They made a few major choices and changes that totally worked onscreen. This was one of the rare instances where a TV/film adaptation tops the original bestselling literature. This is peak television in my book.
