Coffey Powered.
Josh Hart is a sneaky stalwart of a player, racks up the rebs (7.5 per) and assists (4.5 per) from the sg/sf spot

I honestly think Blake's final game as a Clipper was the last time we beat them. At least it's the last time I remember us beating them.

Ugly. Another long night?
Maybe they’ll get down 20 and wake up right?

Completely outclassed so far in the game, not surprising. We might not even get to 28 points at the half tonight.

Everyone is over Bledsoe and I feel like I’m on an island over Jackson.
Would trades even help this team?

If you've never heard our radio guy Noah Eagle, now's a good time
doing his best Ralph Lawler 1994 impression
"And the Clippers have a chance to cut the deficit to under twenty!!"

Yes, they were 5-25 but Marcus and Reggie as 3rd and 4th options should work. They're still putting up 16 ppg each. They are simply not 1st or 2nd options and it's unrealistic to expect them to be--and I have no idea who Lucas thinks SHOULD be.
[People forget it was LOU who got us through last January-February by picking up the scoring load and playing 30 mpg. There is NO Lou Williams on our roster this year.]
Zubac/Batum/Ibaka/Hartenstein is the real question. Coffey and Mann make for a 10-man rotation along with Kawhi. Everything has to be geared to that end. Ibaka and Mann are trade bait IMO and possibly Zubac and Marcus. And of course Bledsoe is available for a six-pack. It doesn't even have to be cold.

No one else playing right now can create on their own, that makes them by default our 'offensive stars'.
We don't even have Kennard to kick out to until he's back from protocol.

I don't mind letting Morris pad his stats for an eventual trade. If the team actually thinks they can win this way, though, they're delusional.

The Pelicans are the first second team to defeat the Clippers three times since Tyronn Lue became coach, and are only the first second to do it as a streak.
Remember how I said "Magical things always happen whenever an opponent defeats the Clippers?" Well, I would not be surprised if, as a result of winning the season series, the Pelicans make the playoffs. Just like with Golden State Warriors in 2012-13 season, when Clippers lost three games to them, they returned to the playoffs.
Pelicans are officially the Clipper's kryptonite. Should they meet in play-in, we can expect Pelicans to take their spot away.
This loss might sway Clippers into considering punting the season. They could get draft picks should they trade their vets but the league would rather see the Clippers go into the draft empty handed. They only have a 2nd round pick this season, but they have a lot of valuable players and buyout pieces as assets.
The 29 teams have the leverage now. And you can thank the Pelicans for possibly enacting the Lottery Apocalypse on the Clippers.
EDIT: Missed the Grizzlies pulling off the 3-in-a-row against the Clippers. I was solely focused on the Pelicans owning the Clippers for five games now as a big deal to the point of post season eligibility.

Clippers starters combined to make 12 of their 42 shots.
“They looked slow, looked pretty old tonight and just didn’t have a lot of pop,” coach Tyronn Lue said. “That happens. We tried everything, I thought our young guys came in and played well and kind of cut the lead and gave us the opportunity to get into the game. But with our starters, from start to finish, they really took advantage of us.”
Terance Mann scored a team-high 15 points. Marcus Morris Sr. scored 12 points but has made just three of his last 17 three-pointers.
Eric Bledsoe, the backup guard who sparked Tuesday’s comeback, didn’t have a chance at an encore while playing a season-low nine minutes, including just 80 seconds after halftime.
He finished with three points. Amir Coffey, who joined Bledsoe as both Tuesday’s hero and a stabilizing presence in recent weeks also was limited in what he could offer while playing on a minutes restriction that stemmed, Lue said, from playing 43 minutes two days earlier, which created playing time for two-way guard Jay Scrubb. Coffey scored five points, with six rebounds and five assists, in 26 minutes.
There was never a doubt that losing Paul George in late December for at least one month because of an elbow injury was going to make scoring more difficult. Over their last 10 games entering Thursday since George began a long-term rest program, the Clippers had scored just 104.8 points per 100 possessions to rank 26th out of 30 teams.
Yet even upon the returns of injured backup center and gifted passer Isaiah Hartenstein, whose recovery from an ankle injury has improved enough to allow him to travel with the team, and guard Luke Kennard (health and safety protocols), a stark difference isn’t expected. At the time of George’s injury, the Clippers ranked only 25th with a 105.9 offensive rating. The factors for that range from an inability to make open shots during the season’s first weeks to persistent issues holding onto the ball and rebounding.
The Clippers are 9-18 when grabbing fewer rebounds and 7-15 when committing more turnovers. Even one of the league’s most dogged defenses cannot consistently overcome their lack of offensive punch, with a 2-19 record when shooting a lower percentage than their opponents.
