**** the LA media and ESPN and all those American outlets that only give a **** about what the Lakers should do and Lebron this and AD that. So sick of that ****.

the lakers are still stuck in their 80s & 90s mentality...developing their talent was their strength & that's why free agents loved the idea of playing for the lakers but this is different times; expect them to be a lottery-bound for the next few years whether LeBron plays for them or not...currently, they are .500 team & don't expect to improve upon it...

I mean, we'll take their 2027 and 2029 FRPs?

Even then, I have no idea how you'd make the money work. Lakers have nobody in the ~16,000,000 range. I guess we could do something like GTJ, Dragic, Boucher, AND Birch for Westbrick?

Ugh. Gross. Just gross.

Siakam and Trent for AD and filler, who says no?

PG FVV - Banton - Flynn
SG Filler - Champ - DJ
SF OG - Yuta
PF Barnes - Precious
C AD - Birch/Boucher

I’d much rather OG + GTJ for AD + THT - wouldn’t mind tossing in Dragic for a backup PG returning to Raps, perhaps with a 3rd team involved.

FVV, Backup PG, Delano
Svi, THT, Delano
Barnes, Yuta
Siakam, Boucher, Precious
AD, Khem Birch, Precious

Barnes, AD, FVV, Siakam core is very strong and I’d trust our FO to build a championship cast around it.

why would we want him, he would just take all the usage and make all the other guys stand in the corner and stunt Barnes development, or force Barnes to get traded for Kevin Love

Nunn and THT for Trent has us paying tax. That makes it a VERY expensive 1st.

It's hard to make sense of any trade to the Lakers, unless Masai really believes THT is a future star (which I have a hard time believing). And if he did, we could have just renounced Lowry in the summer and offered THT a huge deal and got him instead of Precious.

I've always liked the idea of stockpiling future unprotected picks (like a 2027 unprotected first etc), but I'm not sure that's even in the cards here.

Lakers can pound sand. They have nothing that would make it worthwhile. AD? Yeah, if you want an all-star who spends half his time on the injury list. Our style of play would literally cripple him. This is just somebody fishing for clicks.

They can’t even match salary really. This is trash.

They have no depth, why would they send THT Nunn and another filler player and a pick?

Every trade headline with the Lakers in it this year is so funny. Pure, cynical click farming.

Nope, even if they had something we wanted I would say no just for the simple fact I want Lebron James to go out the loser and scumbag that he is

If they offered Lebron, the answer would be hell no as well. He does not represent the Raptors, Toronto or Canada in any shape or form

Lol Lakers probably have the worst accumulation of assets they would trade away in the entire NBA. They can't trade for GTJ.

Maybe this is just something to put into GTJ's head for when he becomes a free agent.

While I do think selling high on GTJ might be the best thing, the Lakers are not a good trading partner. That being said, I would trade Flynn for Nunn straight up if they wanted.
