This feels like a huge game to me.

Both teams a kinda in the same boat. Solid star talent but with big possible moves in the near future.

If we are able to win this game, IMO it could solidly propel us into the second half of the season.

Going into the trade season on an upswing could really empower Brad to make solid moves instead of desperation moves.

Two wins with the Philly and the Bulls would be putting the top teams in the East on notice.

Just feeling like this team and season is at a bit of a crossroads.

I'll be interested to see if Horford is still effective in helping slow down Embiid.

This feels like a borderline must win with Chicago in town tomorrow night. Can't lose both of these games and end up two games under .500 again. Would be an absolute momentum killer even with easier matchups ahead.

Hopefully Al will make a huge difference tonight. If the Jays can keep up their amazing play, this game is more than winnable, but stopping Joel needs to be a priority. I imagine that we should be able to predict how this game will end in the first few minutes. Whether the C's come out strong and full of defensive intensity, or if they come out lethargic and act like they don't want to be there is usually pretty obvious right away. A Couple of seasons ago, it seemed like the C's were in Philly's head, now it appears to have shifted the other way - hopefully tonight changes that.
BTW, the C's have won all of their games since dropping Jabari Parker. Maybe he was the Kryptonite that nobody knew about.

it's a really weird situation.

Only time I can recall where a player held out for literally the entire season was Kawhi a few years back with the Spurs..
