3 of those 6 wins were against the Pelicans, Knicks and Spurs at home (and 2 were very comfortable). I don't think its realistic to assume the team would have went 0-6 in those games against fuller teams. 3-3 though is certainly fair -- and you can certainly argue that a 3 win differential would shift the assessment of the teams current standing.

Since StatpadGate, Fred has been averaging 32 percent from the field on 18 shot attempts while being a minus 3.5.

What does everyone think of Scottie's lack of effort in the last 2 minutes of the game? Do you think if he made things remotely tough on Luka for that 3pt attempt that Luka would have missed it? We know that most NBA players will hit open 3's at a high percentage and we know that if Luka is wide open then it's pretty much automatic. What do you think Nurse was upset at?

Not to mention that we lost two really close games to Miami and Dallas without Birch and GTJ.

Oh yeah the playoff experience really helped Fred and Siakam today. They are soooo good and composed at the end of games because of the championship run.

I know if only we had players that were primed and prepped to win game 42 of the season. Do or die, looser goes home middle of the regular season game that defines the team forever. Shame.

you talk as if they didnt **** the bed the last time they were in the playoffs

Pretty good night for the raptors standings wise. All the teams around us also lost. The schedule gets a lot easier once we get back home. Some good old fashion home cooking, some fresh legs back, and a win streak baby!

You're the only person on this forum that would actually think Chandan made a valid point there. Not only was it not a valid point but it was completely illogical, non-sensical and just flat out dumb.

Back to calling people dumb and insults when you can't come up with valid points! Its the team mediocre way!

Lots of very good players have had some awful playoff series. And when I mean very good players, I mean some of the best players of all-time.

So yeah, that's not a great angle to play.

Lots of overrated stats padding players have also had some awful playoff series.

Trade everyone, sell the team and move to Seattle.

Can you imagine if OKC traded KD after his first playoff series where he shot 35% from the field. :o
What about Lebron in 2007 when he shot 35% in the finals against the Spurs. :o
And Dirk in 2005? 35% from the field. :o
How bout Kobe? 36% in the finals against Indiana. :o
Or Iverson in 2001 against the Bucks. He shot 34%. :o

Just another example of some posters being oblivious to what is happening around the league. I also wonder how many of them have actually played basketball considering they think it's impossible for players to have off nights.

Sell high.

Totally on board. I’d even be on board with packaging him for Simmons. I was legit looking at Brunson today going….’I actually don’t think Fred is better’.

I mean what does everyone expect from this undersized guy anyway? Selling high would be smart but I guess the Raptors will probably give him a pretty hefty deal in 2023.

There is no reason this time would be different. Fred is going to have trouble when the intensity picks up and Siakam is not an #1 option. A team led by Fred and Siakam is never going anywhere.
