Just pack the paint or zone against the Raptors and it's a wrap for our offense. Don't have the shooting and too many low IQ offensive players that are incapable of making the quick decisions required to solve that kind of coverage.

If we make the playoffs they'll see this kind of defense and the results will be just as ugly.

Acting like we didn’t play well those nights due to losing by 3-4 points is just foolish

Moral victories

As if bad teams don't regularly play good teams close in the NBA.

Way to COMPLETELY miss the point of the conversation.

Will is saying this is how we play against good teams, and just completely ignores the good play we had over the past couple weeks.

But why am I not surprised by the Will, Ali, and Reeko combo

Games like this one here happen. First game back after a road trip. It’s the classic trap game

Defensive effort? They're giving up open 3s.
Did you see the stepback Elleby made over Scottie? Or the LeBron-esque runner McLemore made over OG with the shot clock expiring? Or the contested fadeaways CJ?

Q1 defence was bad, but they played much better in Q2. Same story end result though because Portland was hitting everything regardless of how we were playing defensively.

We have our biggest defensive center Precious 1 on 1 with Nurkic, and Devlin rightly says, Nurkic got the mismatch.

Meanwhile why do they have guys who can just pull up and shoot from anywhere, and we have non-shooters on the floor? And then our "good" shooters throw up bricks.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Even Allen Iverson could not get his squad to the 'chip as an undersized shooting guard.

Senior? Yeah...not gonna cut it in the long run.

Problem is he doesn’t seem to play intense off the ball. Like we need him RUNNING corner to corner.

Nurse really has a problem lol, how can you play Fred 20 minutes that half?
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Has nothing to do with IQ. Has everything to do with a lack of spacing. Thr smartest players in the world that can’t shoot still won’t score
