Draymond, Moody, Lee, and JTA. Only reason I'd trade Draymond because of his back injury. Probably have to throw in Wiseman because of contracts or add a third team to the trade.

Did someone build a time machine or something? I'd swear we had this exact same thread months ago.

I'm more open to Simmons than a lot of posters here, but at this point I'm not sure there is any trade for Simmons that is both attractive to me and legal under the CBA. Trading Wiggins, Kuminga, Wiseman, and Poole for him at this point seems like absolute madness to me. Who would we be bidding against that would make an offer anywhere near that good? And if articles are to be believed, Philadelphia would still turn up their nose at the offer and want more. They seem completely delusional.

The 76ers would have to give assets for this team to take him. Other than that if it’s a three team trade where Simmons goes elsewhere and the Warriors get who they want, that would work too.

Fact is he is player due 40 million dollars who is not a complete player and suffers from mental problems. Kuminga in a few years will match what Simmons brings at a lower contract.

Poole and Kuminga...off limits. Forget it.

Maybe Wiseman, Moody, Wiggins.

While I don't have much trust in Simmons personality, I do think he fits perfect with Warriors because there is no way that Warriors would feature Simmons as a last second shot taker when they have Curry and Klay on the team.

The Sixers are looking to dump Tobias Harris, too

He's a young guy that can handle, pass, finish and defend. He'd take away a lot of the workload for our aging vets.

He couldn't coexist with Draymond, though. We'd need to swap Simmons for Green and get a third team to help them dump Harris.

I'd like to keep Curry, Thompson, Poole, Looney and Wiggins. Anyone else could go. Wiggins value will diminish it we have Thompson and Simmons, so maybe I wouldn't mind if he was involved. It would be sad to see him go.

well to match salaries it would have to be one of Wiggins, Klay or Draymond because they aren't trading Steph. I am one of the few here who would have entertained trading for Ben at the beginning of the season and then I was out after seeing how they started but now I am kind of back to being interested. I would do Wiggins, Moody and Poole and a future protected first if I knew which Simmons we would be getting. Klay doesn't look ready to make an impact so far this season and Curry has been off for over a month, maybe an injection of Simmons is what the roster needs. I know that pairing Draymond and Simmons has its issues but the team looks stuck in neutral at the moment. I doubt Wiggins, Moody, Poole and a FRP would be enough to get it done tho.

There is no trade I would make for him.

Asset wise I would offer Moody/Wiseman (because I’m concerned about his long term health) but no way to make salaries work.

Sell high on Wiggins. Seems like a no brainer to me. I like that he has upped his game since we picked him up but we've seen him at his best and he will never be a difference maker when it counts. At least until he moves his FT% to the 75% range.

No thanks.

Not only can/will he not shoot, but he gave up on his team. I think there's more going on here.

Wiggins or Wiseman straight up. The latter obviously would not work.

They have no leverage and despite his poor showing this year, Dray is a good FT shooter. Ben, even if he replicates everything Dray does (he won't), can and will get played off the court in the only time we would acquire a star player for - the playoffs.

Adding on, he's a fantastic player and a great defender, but perimeter defense is just less valuable than what Draymond does as basically the back of our defensive line. I don't feel you can like-for-like switch or compare them. Heck, is he even more valuable than Wiggins in a playoff series? I'm not sure you can definitively answer that anymore.

Wiseman/Poole

Simmons doesn't do anything that Dray can't do for this team

Nearly no way to match Simmons' salary unless you include one of Wiggins/Klay/Draymond.

I wouldn't even entertain Wiggins for Simmons straight up at this point.

I would have considered Wiggins + Wiseman before the season. Right now, I would not take on Simmons because he will further clog up our offense, and Wiggins, to me, is a miles better 2-way fit than Simmons for us.

The boat has sailed. Good luck Philly and Klutch

Chiozza and a bag of chips and I'd still reject the deal.

Zero interest in Simmons at this point. Wouldn't give up Wiggins straight up. Wiggins can shoot from outside of 4 feet.

Wiggins, Payton and a 1st round draft pick. No more than that.
Then move Klay to small forward and make Simmons the back up to both Steph and Draymond.

Nothing, because hes a horrible fit.

The dubbs offense moves the ball to create open looks for people to take the shot. We already see what it looks like when guys like jta, iggy dray, kuminga , even bjelly wont shot or can't shoot. Now, you add the worst shooter in the NBA for wiggins who is a 40% 3 pt shooter and can play off the ball.

Simmons is strictly an on the ball guy who will need the offense to cater to him. Draymond already can do what simmons brings but without the baggage. Simmons is also a known quitter and has done so at every stage of his basketball career.
