Thibs don't give a damn how good you play. If you're under 25 and not a top 3 pick...you are lucky to be playing. No matter how bad his vets are playing...they will get the most minutes. Once in a blue moon he will surprise you but...not often enough.

This is one of the better young group of kids I can recall having in a long time. We are going to waste them playing Kemba/Evan/Burks chasing the 12 seed. Then trade them away for someone who won't win us a title.

He's pretty damn stubborn, but maybe not totally...Grimes has been rewarded with minutes lately.

Grimes wouldn't have seen an ounce of daylight if it wasn't for Covid. He'd still riding the end of the bench. Thibs is a joke.

Grimes will be back on the bench once Rose gets healthy.

i want to see Grimes start but not at PG. Everyone played PG in HS but doesnt really mean much.

Facts I just wanna see Grimes start regardless. RJ would be the primary ball handler anyway so in theory Grimes would still be the 2.

At this point either way i would take it. Seems like an easy swap with Fournier. But either way probably not happening with Thibs

Asset management. Or so they could trade RJ. Or whatever reason that works for you. There have been several offered up on here.

Heat employs the Zone and they actually give a sh*t about defense, Randle and RJ looking like ass incoming, Knicks lose.

This is a big game for RJ for sure. If he can play well regardless of victory or not, that would be huge for him and us.

Ud think this team would accidentally become good at some point. Thats been my hope for 20 years lol. But obviously the stench comes from the top, just like the Kings. Anything good would get mismanaged anyway.

Dolan will never commit to a proper rebuild. Any decent young player will be traded or be buried behind a mediocre vet. Been this way since 2002. Dont get too attached to any of the guys on the team folks. The deadline lurks in the distance and it will prob not go the direction u want it to.

I think he's more of a low end starter in all practicality.

Knicks were a top 5 defense largely because of him last year. He has his flaws but he would start for numerous teams in the league imo

I say we test that theory out and put him on the trade market

Fair enough lol. I really do think there are a few contenders to borderline playoff teams who could use him ( Lakers for sure, Clippers, Boston, Toronto and Charlotte off the top of my head)

Always felt like he was here as either a Mitch replacement if he was traded or insurance for more Mitch injuries. If Mitch gets a long term deal I imagine they'll explore Noel's market.
