Pretty much my only issue with Gute is his odd approach to improving the offense. Dillon and MVS (so far) over four years simply isn't cutting it. I may be forgetting someone but that probably means they aren't very good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯CWoodfan wrote:Dennis Reynolds wrote:th87 wrote:

Heard that but we will never know. I also prefer lying to myself so I could feel better. Can you leave me alone now please?![]()
Bit more than a rumor that OBJ was interested in GB but that he was given a low-ball offer, but I can understand why fans who bleed Green & Gold would not want to think that their front office was not doing everything possible to get to a Super Bowl.

Can't overlook the line. The OL is the heart of an offense and ours has been damn good. Hell we played a big chunk of the season will ALL backups. For some reason we mucked up the line in the Niners game (although MLF has the final say there's no way he does that if Steno doesn't agree).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

So the Packers offered $1.025 mil and he signed with the Rams for $1.25 mil. It also says he wouldn't have taken the same offer from Green Bay so the Packers would have had to pay more. Curious how much more it would have taken because the Packers really didn't have much money to spend.
I read the Packers were upfront with OBJ and told him how they planned to use him. I believe that involved Rodgers also talking to him.

Heard the Rams offered a bunch of "not likely to be earned" incentives to get around the cap, which I understand were available to the Packers too.
Post game interview with him, he said he envisioned himself in the Super Bowl this year, but wasn't sure which team it would be with, which to me reads as a subtle "in your face" - otherwise he wouldn't have brought it up.
We have to close on these moves. Maybe OBJ results in Adams being more open against SF, and Rodgers engineering one more drive. Maybe AB last year prevents a throw to ESB on a two point conversion which bounced off his hands. Maybe trading for Marshawn Lynch for the pick that turned out to Alex Green was the right move...and so on.

My buddy won $100k on FanDuel off of Stafford's kneel at the end.

I was 8 and remember being super bummed when Tim Krumrie broke his leg. My lifelong dislike of the 49ers started that day.HKPackFan wrote:Plossum wrote:Can't believe the Bengals are in the Superbowl.

I just hope the string of down to the wire games continues in the SB. I won't be bummed if the Rams win but I want the Bengals. Èither way we've beaten the SB champs this year. Yay

I bought a bunch of Joe Burrow rookie cards PSA 9 and PSA 10 in the offseason and even more during the season because prices just would not go up and I knew eventually they would.
Just sold half of them and already got more than my money back. So basically I now have 10 Joe Burrow PSA 10 rookie cards for free. If he wins the Superbowl maybe I sell a few more if the price is right, but I am set. If he stays healthy, Burrow has a chance to be SPECIAL........and Mahomes we all know will take over for Brady once he retires. 4 AFC title games in his first four years as a starter, 2 superbowl appearances, and 1 SB win?
Sold a few Burrow's and used the profits to buy a couple of Mahomes cards which literally cut in half after the loss. People are so fickle, but I will reap all the long-term profits.

First Bengals player to score a TD in the super bowl has to bust out an Icky Shuffle.

How much a 10 Joe Burrow PSA 10 costs?

So OBJ just wanted the contract to look big in appearance? I wonder how much more the Packers would have had to pay over the Rams offer. I get people complaining about the Packers not going all in most years, but it seems like they tried to this season.
Weren't AB and Brady best buds? Did the Packers have a chance at him? The Lynch, Gonzalez, Moss are some that stick out to me. Didn't Ted think he had a trade made for Gonzalez only to have the other team back out last minute.

If it was truly getting outbid then sure Gute should feel bad about the OBJ thing but I can't help but to think the whole Green Bay vs LA city thing probably was a factor for a guy like Odell.
