Tonight shows you the great players Embiid plays with. Won without him.

Yeah. Great players. Right? No need to make trade for more great role players ben Simmons is gonna to net like buddy hield.

Damn. Sixers are now 4-8 without embiid and lucky morant missed the free throw at the end of regulation.

It’s the Grizzlies who’ve been on fire. Tobias is underrated.

So, emphasizing up front that I think Embiid is the frontrunner for the actual award, and that I'll have no problem with him as an MVP because I think he is an MVP level player:

This notion that points per minute is the ultimate measure of a scorer is something we moved past in the basketball world a very long time ago. Specifically, in '66-67 when Wilt went away from volume scoring and the team's offense got a lot better.

I'm not saying the 76ers should move away from this with Embiid, but the idea that efficiency and other stuff doesn't matter as long as you score at a high enough volume rate is not something you have to be a "Jokic fan" to see the issue with. If you don't understand why other people aren't as convinced by this as you, that's you missing a big part of the picture, not everyone else being biased.

Well it’s actually Synonymous with the greatest scorers of all time. Here are the top 7 in points per minute all time.

1.Joel Embiid
2.MJ 10 scoring titles
3.Gervin 4 scoring titles
4.KD 4 scoring titles
5.Harden 3 scoring titles
6.Lebron 1 scoring title
7.steph 2 scoring titles

So as you can see only the best scorers of all time are tops in points per minute.

That record is misleading considering the competition they played bolded being top teams

VS Portland - W *Tobias out too
VS Ny - L *Thybulle and Tobias out too
VS Milwaukee - L *Thybulle, Tobias and Seth out too
VS Toronto - L *Thybulle out too
@ Indiana - L *Danny and Thybulle out too
@ Utah - L *Danny and Thybulle out too
@ Denver - W *Danny out too
@ Portland - L ^Danny out too
@ Sacramento - W *Seth, Danny and Tobias out too
@ Gs - L
@ Memphis - L *Seth out too
VS Memphis - W

Warriors and Grizz game only ones where they had everyone else. Warriors were 16-2 best team in Nba and Philly was up most the game before they started fading late

Maxey doesn't do this when Embiid is around. Too young, and afraid of stepping on the big guys toes. Embiid has told him plenty of times to find his shot. It should be Embiid, Maxey then Tobias as the pecking order.

If you take the 4 players with more minutes of PHI and DEN and count the number of game for single player where GameScore (give a rough measure of a player's productivity for a single game) is better of 20 (good game) we have:

PHI
Embiid 22
Maxey 8
Harris 8
Curry 7

DEN
Jokic 37
Barton 4
AG 5
Morris 1

If you still believe the load of Jokic is similar to Embiid ok.

Imho Jokic/Giannis and Embiid are similar as productivity and I have not problem to give Embiid the MVP if plays at least 75-80% of games.

... and my last post in this thread...

I'm sure Jokic, Giannis and Embiid would undoubtedly trade an MVP award for winning the Champs... something like cry-baby (insecure ego) social people like Lebron and KD would never do

Embiid missed 9 games due to Covid. He’s been pretty healthy. Last night was really the only 3rd game he missed outside Covid.

Voters will take that into account (the Covid games missed). If he plays 65 or more games. They will give it to embiid IF SIXERS can finish 3/4. But Jokic may win it again as well if Denver is a 3 seed. I don’t think they can catch golden state or phoenix.

3. Embiid
2. Steph Curry
1. Chris Paul

Honorable mention: Jokic, DeMar DeRozan, Jimmy Butler

If y'all want Jokic to get a 2nd league MVP, the Denver Nuggets has to finish, at minimum, with the 2nd best record in the West.

No he doesn’t have to be 2nd at minimum.
