Celtics beating the Hornets also creates a bit more breathing space between the 1-6 and 7-9 groups

Thunder beat the Mavs, Rockets beat Cavs, Wizards beat Philly. Another crazy night in the NBA

I'm learning more and more that the top teams take the Regular season less and less seriously
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Possible that he and Kyrie don't get along? he was fine before he showed up.

You're probably right, not sure how credible Jake Fischer is, but:
Harden remains invested in competing for the title in Brooklyn this season, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation. But Harden has recently informed several confidants—including former teammates and coaches—of his interest in exploring other opportunities outside of Brooklyn this summer, league sources told B/R.

“James isn’t going to hold back,” said a person familiar with Harden. “He’s gonna tell you where he stands.”

Harden has been vocal to Nets figures and close contacts alike about his frustrations regarding Kyrie Irving’s part-time playing status. A recent injury to Kevin Durant has exacerbated the issue, leaving Harden to shoulder the majority of the offensive burden during Brooklyn home games.

Nets coach Steve Nash’s fluid rotations have also disappointed Harden, sources told B/R. Nash has favored hot-hand closing lineups, rather than a fixed crunch-time unit.

His new city could also be an issue. According to multiple sources, Harden has not enjoyed living in Brooklyn, compared to his days as a central Houston magnate. Outside of the change in climate, the chasm between state taxes in New York versus Texas is quite obvious as well.

I don't think Derozan has ever been a top 10, let alone top 20 player until possibly this season...He's been a volume scorer with poor efficiency for pretty much his entire career. His highest scoring season he put up 27 ppg on 21 FGA/9 FTA. He's always been a below average defender...definitely not a HOF unless he finds a way to win a ring in the next few years.

Not purposely calling out you, but a lot of people use "let alone" to refer to something more likely to happen.

As for top 10/20, he has 1 2nd team all NBA and 1 3rd team all NBA. He is most likely 2nd team All-nba this year. That is 3 years where he was awarded by the NBA as a top 20 player (giving a buffer in case he made it due to position). You might not value you him, but I think it is fair to call him a top 20 player if he made All-NBA.

Fair enough, still think he's been an empty stat player for basically his entire career and I bet you could find 15 other guys better than him/you'd rather have every year he made those all-nba teams. The fact that he's been such a low efficiency volume chucker his entire career hurts his case with how much emphasis is put on advanced stats these days. If he wins a ring, he probably gets in. If he doesn't, he doesn't.

Looks like Bane (#22) had some cool numerology going on in his boxscore tonight.

The internet informs me it's 02/02/22 in the US of A currently.

We could potentially be the #2 seed by Saturday without having played a game since Tuesday.

If Bulls lose on the their B2B tonight & tomorrow, and we win Saturday, we’ll be back at (or tied for) #1.

Sometimes the grass isn't always greener. I don't think he realized LeBron manipulated the proceedings to get and groom his replacement as franchise guy. Davis, while a really good player, doesn't have the intangibles to elevate a franchise. Anyone who I talk to about NBA who brings his name up when talking about Gianni (or even Jokic) I just laugh. What's even funnier is that all off-season they leaked to the media how Davis was working on gaining muscle, etc.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Lebron wanted Davis in LA to help him win another ring, not to "groom him to be his successor" for the franchise. Lebron doesn't give a **** about the Lakers after he's gone.
