Brook coming back strong would be a bigger addition than anyone we seem likely to get.

Unless we add a forward to the Giannis at center lineups.

Eh, Nurkic is a bruiser, so that could be important. But he's really not a guy that moves the needle at all.

Nurkic would be a really solid addition on this Bucks team.

But the point I was making is that the Bucks going from not having Brook or Nurkic, to suddenly having a center rotation of Brook/Nurkic down the stretch of the season and into the playoffs would be a gut punch to the rest of the east.

If I am a Sixers or Heat fan and I look at the Buck's roster as of right now, I kind of like my chances against the Bucks in the playoffs. But if I am a Sixers or Heat fan and you tell me that the Buck's center rotation in May is going to be Brook Lopez and Jusuf Nurkić, that would be a pretty big blow to my confidence level.

I think the Bucks just want Williams. They'll take Schroder if they have to.

Great news! Brooks is coming back in the next weeks, months or years.

Yeah 'weeks or months' was an interesting choice of words.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Idk even 'coming months' along with the rest of the quote implies April at the latest. Still holding not holding my breathe until he comes back but seems to be a lot of optimism. Feels good

He did fix it to say weeks and months. I still stand by March 22 against the Bulls.

Yeah, I don't know. The first rumor was that MIL made an offer for Schroder, the second was that Boston asked for Donte, and the third was that the Bucks countered by asking them to include Williams.

No worries about Divincenzo's contract, injury recovery, or shooting consistency for a title run?

All concerns, which is why he's available. However, if he stays, we have no concern about his defense or his elite ability to secure loose balls (yeah that's pretty minor, but he's top 5 in the League at it)

Does Milwaukee need more scoring? Schroder's one plus skill (shooting is down this year) is getting his own shot - lot of floaters and circus layups..

Donte is my favorite return of all the rumors tbh

We've had some games where bench scoring has been a problem, so if the Schroder noise is true I'm guessing that's the exact reason. Of course some (a lot) of that has to do with Bobby having to start all season as well.

Why bother? Holmes wouldn't see the floor in the playoffs.

What an odd thing to say.

I guess I'm going to have to let the cat out of the bag here: Giannis is going to play a ton of center in the playoffs.

And yet, he won’t play 48 minutes at center.

Back of envelope spitballing tells me there’s 96 minutes available between PF and C. As much as I love watching Pat and Wes destroy our defense at center, I think we should have a Plan B (really A).
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Eh. I would rather see the Jokic brothers versus the Morris brothers in a fouling contest.

There’s also a chance he’d re-up at a discount - he’s mentioned that possibility with Boston. His agent screwed him the last year and a half and I don’t think he’s ever getting more than an MLE contract again.

Really wanted Bobby in the 3 point contest
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
